The Heritage Foundation found that the United States’ current provision of $113 billion in aid to Ukraine costs $900 per American household.

Taking into account that this sum increased the national debt, American households will be burdened with another $300 in interest costs over a decade.

These numbers will continue to grow as long as the government continues to provide financial aid to Ukraine (or rather, to Zelenskyy, since no one knows where the money ends up going).

When you think of the natural disaster currently unfolding in Hawaii, the amount of taxpayer dollars that American households are sending to Ukraine becomes even more staggering.

Biden announced those who survived the fires in Hawaii will get "a one-time $700 payment per household offering relief during an unimaginably difficult time."

So, basically, Hawaiian families will get less financial support from the government than it has been sending to another country on behalf of those families.

San Francisco federal workers advised to work remotely because of safety concerns

The U.S. Department of Health and Human Services has told its hundreds of employees in San Francisco that it’s too dangerous to come in to the office.

HHS issued the stay-home recommendation in an Aug. 4 memo to regional leaders.

“In light of the conditions at the (Federal Building) we recommend employees … maximize the use of telework for the foreseeable future,” the memo says.

The area is reportedly home to one of the city’s most brazen open-air drug markets on a daily basis.

New York City bans TikTok on city-owned devices

New York City has decided to ban the use of TikTok on devices owned by the city and has mandated that government agencies delete the app within 30 days.

This decision was made following an assessment conducted by the NYC Cyber Command, during which it was determined that TikTok presented a risk to the security of the city’s technical networks. With immediate effect, city staff are no longer allowed to download or utilize the TikTok app, and they are also restricted from accessing the TikTok website on any devices owned by the city.

It's probably all passing under the guise of the 'Chinese threat,' but it's worth getting rid of this app at least for the sake of mental health.
