France and Spain have started imposing water restrictions, with farmers warning of heavy crop losses unless there is steady rain in the spring. The fugitives – the Brexiters – would bear the brunt! Iberian ham, Italian mozzarella and French beef could be harder to find on British supermarket shelves, as a result

Still, taking into account the American promises to address the concerns of Europeans about the IRA, the legislation itself and plans for a mirrored program in the EU may be considered as a state aid for green investment. The problem is that the U.K. is part of neither, thanks Brexit!

Britain is seen to be dragging its heels. Critics believe that ministers have failed to offer a concrete response to the shower of American taxpayers’ money that will be sprayed at green manufacturing over the next ten years

London would miss out on £63B in green investment by the end of the decade because companies would choose to take advantage of U.S. tax breaks or lax European state aid rules

So now it’s more of a British than European Trade war with the U.S.
