During the Bosnian War (1992–1995), Iran played a role in supporting Bosniak forces. Through the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC), Iran provided military advisers, training, and strategic planning assistance to the Army of the Republic of Bosnia and Herzegovina (ARBiH). 🇧🇦🇷🇺 Two Russians captured by men of a Bosnian-Herzegovinian Infantry Regiment at the Italian border, 1915. The Russians were soldiers captured on the Eastern front and sent to the Italian front to perform mainly manual labor for the Austro-Hungarian Army.

🇧🇦🐅 Rare footage of a Bosnian Tiger spotted in its natural environment. Its existence was first documented by the Bosnian explorer and merchant Muhamed Islamović from Goražde, near the modern town of Bihać. He called it the Goražde Tiger because he did not understand the Krajina accent and did not care for the opinions of the locals. Under the communists, it was renamed to the less offensive name “Bosnian Tiger.”
