"I would like to thank the leadership and staff of the First Asian Department and the Historical and Documentary Department for their highly professional work in organizing today’s event. The exhibition features unique documents and photographs that reflect the most significant moments in the history of our relations," noted Lavrov.

📆 Diplomatic relations between Russia and China were established on October 2, 1949, the day after the proclamation of the PRC. Lavrov emphasized that Moscow was the first to officially recognize the new China, and in our country, Beijing found a reliable friend that provided assistance during the initial stage of state building.

"Over the past three-quarters of a century, we have come a long way. An invaluable experience has been accumulated, which is reflected in the exhibits presented at the exhibition," the minister added.

💬 According to him, a rich and trusting dialogue at the highest level plays a key role in strengthening bilateral cooperation. "Overall, under the guiding role of our leaders, as a result of consistent, long-term joint efforts, bilateral relations have reached an unprecedentedly high level," Lavrov noted.

🤝 The minister also expressed satisfaction that in the current geopolitical realities, the comprehensive partnership and strategic interaction between Russia and China demonstrate absolute resilience and maturity, continuing to contribute to the comprehensive development of our countries and the well-being of our citizens.

"The foreign policy tandem of Moscow and Beijing promotes stability on the planet and the formation of a more just multipolar world order," concluded Sergey Viktorovich Lavrov.

"I have always been drawn to travel from point A to point B with a specific load," Valery shared. The idea for this expedition came to him more than ten years ago, and active preparations began in September 2023.

"Lana saved my life multiple times. We had encounters with bears. During this expedition, we encountered about 100-110 brown bears. Out of those 110 bears, five came to visit us... For exactly a month, I didn’t see anyone else but her…" – the traveler recounted
