📰 Valery Stempien Successfully Completed 5053 km Journey Across Yakutia with His Dog Lana

🗺 51-year-old traveler Valery Stempien has completed an impressive journey across the territory of Yakutia, covering 5053 kilometers from the south to the north of the republic. Accompanying him on this challenging journey was his loyal dog, Lana.

"I have always been drawn to travel from point A to point B with a specific load," Valery shared. The idea for this expedition came to him more than ten years ago, and active preparations began in September 2023.

🗺 Initially, the traveler thought he would cover 5625 kilometers and planned to do it in 90 days, but in the end, the route turned out to be shorter, at 5053 kilometers, and he completed it in 4.5 months.

"Lana saved my life multiple times. We had encounters with bears. During this expedition, we encountered about 100-110 brown bears. Out of those 110 bears, five came to visit us... For exactly a month, I didn’t see anyone else but her…" – the traveler recounted
