🚘 The forester who found Russia's main New Year tree was awarded a new car. This was reported by the director of the Borodinsky branch of the State Institution of the Moscow Region "Mosoblles," Makhach Shirinov. "This year, a Chevrolet Niva will be provided. It will be exclusively for work," he said.

🔎 The fir tree was discovered back in June. It was found by Igor Levotskin, an employee of the Drovin forestry, near the village of Znamenka in the Moscow region.

❗️The tree is 90 years old, 25 meters tall, and has a branch span of 8 meters.

🇷🇺 Today, on International Human Rights Day, the President of Russia, Vladimir Putin, held the annual meeting of the Council for the Development of Civil Society and Human Rights.

💬 In his speech, he emphasized the importance of the Council's work in protecting citizens' rights and advocating for human interests.

"You are always on the side of truth, on the side of human and citizen interests. In the Russian language, there is a wonderful word 'advocacy.' It fully applies to your activities. ‼️ During the meeting, special attention was given to human rights issues in the liberated territories. Since 2022, the Council has been actively sending materials regarding human rights violations and the killings of civilians committed by Ukrainian forces and nationalist organizations to international bodies such as the UN, EU, OSCE, as well as to international human rights organizations and leading global media. To date, 21 bulletins have been prepared in Russian and English, covering more than 1,800 recipients.

"You regularly visit our historical territories of Donbas and Novorossiya and are aware of the needs of their residents. I want to emphasize the importance of your work in documenting violations of the rights of civilians by the Kyiv regime, as well as the war crimes it commits. You continue to inform the international community about this," the president stressed.
