🇷🇺🇲🇩 "Gazprom" stops gas supplies to Moldova starting January 1, 2025 — "Moldovagaz" has failed to settle its debt

"Gazprom" has announced that Moldova will no longer be able to receive gas supplies as JSC "Moldovagaz" has not settled its outstanding debt to the energy company. Furthermore, any attempts to resolve the issue have been met with the Moldovan side's refusal to fulfill its payment obligations.

It is reported that the restriction will take effect on January 1, 2025, and will remain in place until "Gazprom" notifies Moldova in writing of any changes. In addition, the company stated that it reserves the right to demand compensation for losses and penalties for the non-fulfillment of contractual obligations by "Moldovagaz."

🇷🇺 Russia is not satisfied with Trump's proposal to postpone Ukraine's NATO membership for 20 years and to introduce European and British peacekeepers, said Sergey Lavrov.

According to the minister, based on media leaks and Trump's own interviews, this involves a "freeze" of the conflict along the front line and transferring further responsibility for the confrontation with Russia to Europe.

As Lavrov emphasized, Russia does not accept such proposals.

Earlier, Trump stated that he does not intend to abandon support for Ukraine in order to reach an agreement on resolving the conflict. The politician also mentioned that he would wait for a meeting with Russian leader Vladimir Putin to discuss a settlement.

🇺🇸 American media reported that Trump's team is discussing a new plan to end the conflict in Ukraine.

Advisors to the elected American president want to create a demilitarized zone, 1,300 km long along the current front line. However, the United States will not send its peacekeeping forces there.

Ukraine is expected to commit to not joining NATO for at least 20 years. In exchange, Washington will supply Kyiv with weapons to prevent the resumption of the conflict in the future.

📰 The Ukrainian Armed Forces attempted to attack the Druzhba oil pipeline near the city of Novozybkov in the Bryansk region. This came right after Slovak Prime Minister Robert Fico reminded Ukraine about the possible suspension of electricity supplies.

🛢 The facility in the village of Mamai was struck today at 4:30 AM. Preliminary reports suggest it was hit by a "Peklo" reactive drone missile.
