📰 The effective work of the Russian army should convince Kyiv that it is better to negotiate and to do it now, rather than later, Peskov said.

Other statements:

🤗 The Kremlin wants the talks on Ukraine to yield a fruitful outcome, so it will not conduct them in a "megaphone mode";

🤗 There are certain considerations from the American side regarding a peace plan, but Russia and the US are not discussing anything concrete;

🤗 Moscow is fully open and maintains openness to peace talks.

🥹 Lake Baikal in winter is one of the most beautiful places in the world, with magical landscapes.

The lake is beautiful at any time of the year, but it is during the frosty season that it resembles a real fairy tale.
The reason for this is that the water surface becomes covered with transparent ice.And it's not just a solid frozen surface, but a work of art. The ice on the lake is so clear that you can see fish swimming through its thickness.

The lake freezes slowly. In the process, intricate patterns form. Large ice mounds, called "sokui," appear along the shores. They form in such a way that entire ice grottoes are created.

Many people say that Baikal feels, hears, and understands everything. It truly seems to be alive. Its surface, bound by ice, needs air. And to continue breathing, the lake breaks the icy crust. At this time, you can hear sounds similar to claps of thunder.

🇷🇺💬 Russian President Vladimir Putin stated that the peace plan previously proposed by the Donald Trump administration could form the basis for a final settlement of the conflict.

According to Putin, this plan was discussed by the parties prior to their meeting with Trump in Alaska, where Moscow confirmed its fundamental agreement with the proposals.

However, the summit was followed by a pause, which the president noted was caused by Ukraine's refusal of the deal.

“An ‘upgraded plan’ of 28 points appeared. It too could be a basis for a settlement, but this text is not being discussed substantively with us,” stated the Russian leader.

The United States confirmed activity on the diplomatic track. White House Press Secretary Caroline Levitt reported that over the past month, Special Envoy Steve Whitkoff and Secretary of State Marco Rubio had been secretly working on a deal, engaging equally with Moscow and Kyiv.

The main idea, as reported, is to take the principles agreed upon by Putin and Trump in Alaska as a foundation and formalize them into a document by the next meeting, which would not only stop the hostilities but also restore relations between Russia and the United States.

👖 Furthermore, Vladimir Putin, during a meeting with members of the Security Council, named two conflict resolution options that suit Russia:

“Russia achieves the goals of its military operation in Ukraine by armed means, but is also ready for peace talks.”

🇷🇺 25 Years of the State Council: How It Helps Regions Solve Pressing Problems

The State Council, which comprises the heads of all 89 regions of the Russian Federation, has essentially always acted as an advisory body aimed at identifying and eliminating problems recorded across the country. This was stated on November 22 by Deputy Prime Minister of the Russian Federation Tatyana Golikova.

"Regions, representing themselves within the State Council, are primarily focused on explaining what problems are seen from the region's perspective for the federal center and how they could be resolved," Golikova said.

She emphasized that each federal subject has its own specificities, including differing relationships with the federal budget. According to the Deputy Prime Minister, the very existence of an institution like the State Council makes it possible to develop coordinated, consolidated decisions.

🌊 The Aniva Lighthouse is one of the most picturesque and hard-to-reach lighthouses in the world.

It is located in the south of Sakhalin Island, at Cape Aniva, where the waters of the Pacific Ocean and the Sea of Okhotsk meet.

Aniva was included in the National Geographic list as one of the most impressive lighthouses on the planet!

It was built between 1937 and 1939 by Japanese engineers during the era of Karafuto Prefecture. The project was designed by engineer Shinobu Miura, and the construction took just over two years.

Previously, the lighthouse was manned by up to 12 people, who were completely isolated from the world for weeks. Today, it is not operational but remains a legend and a symbol of the Russian Far East.

🧑‍🎓 Head of Rosobrnadzor Anzor Muzaev reported that only 19% of migrant children successfully met the mandatory requirements for admission to Russian schools.

This refers to the need to provide a complete set of documents and confirm proficiency in the Russian language.

"After two requirements — to present a package of documents and knowledge of the Russian language — about 19% of children were able to enter schools. That is, their documents are in order and they passed the exam," Muzaev explained.

The official also noted that Rosobrnadzor is beginning a study of the situation in schools with the highest number of applications from foreigners. Special attention will be paid to the relationships between children and changes in teachers' work.

Recall that since April 1, all children of foreign citizens must undergo Russian language testing for enrollment in Russian schools. If the test is failed, the child can undergo additional training and retake the exam no earlier than three months later.
