#US 🇺🇸 | More than 10,000 workers from General Motors, Ford and Stellantis went on strike on September 15, 2023. The strike is the first major industrial action in the US auto industry in over a decade.

The United Auto Workers (@UAW) union, which represents the striking workers, is demanding better wages, job security, and healthcare benefits.

Thousands of workers demonstrated in front of the parliament building in Athens against a bill that would increase maximum working hours to 13 hours a day and 78 hours a week, as well as limiting the right to strike, with a penalty of 6 months in prison and a fine of 5,000 euros if blocking activities in the workplace.

Biden knifed labor unions in the back last year when the White House intervened to prevent a strike so the railroad companies could ignore their workers’ demands.
