"On the economic basis referred to above, the political institutions of modern capitalism—press, parliament associations, congresses etc.—have created political privileges and sops for the respectful, meek, reformist and patriotic office employees and workers, corresponding to the economic privileges and sops. Lucrative an soft jobs in the government or on the war industries committees, in parliament and on diverse committees, on the editorial staffs of “respectable”, legally published newspapers or on the management councils of no less respectable and “bourgeois law-abiding” trade unions—this is the bait by which the imperialist bourgeoisie attracts and rewards the representatives and supporters of the “bourgeois labour parties”. 🚘🪧Union-Buster-in-Chief🚨🤥

President Biden said he will join the picket line with UAW workers in Michigan on Tuesday, September 26, 2023.

Biden knifed labor unions in the back last year when the White House intervened to prevent a strike so the railroad companies could ignore their workers’ demands. Joe Biden, Mr. "I-Love-Unions", unilaterally disarmed the unions before their fight could even begin. And now he is going to Michigan with a straight face to “save the workers”.

159 years ago, on September 28, 1864, the International Working Mens Association - the First International, the first mass international organization of the working class - was founded in London by Karl Marx and Friedrich Engels.

The meeting in St. Martin's Hall was attended by representatives of the proletariat of England, France, Germany, Italy, Poland, and Ireland. K. Marx was elected to the presidium of the meeting as a representative of the German workers.

The temporary committee allocated to develop the program unanimously approved the Founding Manifesto of the International Working Men's Association and the Provisional Charter of the Association written by Marx and constituted itself as the Central Council (since 1866 - the General Council). The Manifesto and the Charter laid the programmatic and organizational foundations for the international solidarity of the proletariat. “... The liberation of labor ,” said the Charter, “ is not a local or national problem, but a social one, covering all countries in which modern society exists ...” In the Manifesto, the working class was faced with the task of conquering political power. Like the Manifesto of the Communist Party, it ended with the great historical slogan: “Workers of all countries, unite!” .

The Culinary Workers Union, representing 60,000 hospitality workers in Nevada, US, has overwhelmingly voted to favor a strike, with 95% supporting the action. This strike is set to impact 22 casino resorts along the Las Vegas Strip and holds historical significance, as the union hasn't organized a strike for over three decades.

The timing of this strike vote is crucial, given that it precedes high-profile events like the Formula One Grand Prix in November and the Super Bowl a few months later, both are expected to draw hundreds of thousands of tourists to Las Vegas.

Negotiations between the workers and the resorts have been ongoing since April, with critical demands including higher wages and improved working conditions. Despite the resorts reaping record-breaking profits, they continue to operate with reduced staffing levels implemented during the pandemic, leaving workers underpaid and overworked. According to the US Bureau of Labor Statistics, last year, the average wage of workers in Vegas was 12% below the nationwide average. Another report revealed that almost half of all Americans reported feeling overworked.

This development in Nevada is part of a larger trend toward unionization in the United States, including workers in companies like Amazon, Apple, and Starbucks. In 2022, union petitions reached their highest level since 2015, and public support for unions stands at 71%, the highest it has been in over 50 years. However, union-busting tactics have led to a continuous decline in unionized workers over the past few decades, with only 11% of workers represented by a union.

🤘☄️💥Russell Brand's Curious Career Path🔥✍️🌎

The early 2000s until around 2015 Russell Brand was a darling of British Television. His comedic timing and his flamboyant style made him an instant hit with the viewing public.

Brand’s career trajectory was climbing higher and higher. Then all of sudden he seemed to take a turn towards becoming an activist/health and well being guru. At the start of this new direction it seemed he still hadn’t lost his lustre with his fans. Even being voted him as the world’s fourth most influential thinker.

Over the past 3 years his activist image has increased and he’s been taking positions on politics and world events that the journalists, who once promoted him, would not dare take. He even had Seymour Hersh on his show to discuss his findings about the USA’s involvement in the attack on the Nord Stream gas pipeline which was undoubtedly an act of American terrorism
