🚨 GDG DevFest RSVP Update! 🚨

Hello, DevFest attendees! 🙌

We’ve received an incredible response, and we’re excited that over 900 people have RSVP’d for GDG DevFest! 🎉 Unfortunately, we can only accommodate 500 attendees for the event due to venue constraints. So, we need your help to make sure that we have accurate numbers and give those on the waiting list a fair chance at attending.

How you can help:
If you’ve already RSVP’d but aren’t sure whether you’ll be able to attend, please take a moment to answer this quick poll. This will help us prioritize the 500 tickets and let us know who is really coming.

🔴 If you're not planning to attend, please let us know so we can free up space for others!

🟢 If you're still planning to attend, please confirm your spot!

Why we’re doing this:
We want to be as transparent as possible about the number of available spots. We know it’s frustrating to not be able to RSVP if we’re already at capacity, but this poll helps us give priority to those who are sure they’ll attend and create a more accurate guest list.

Thanks for your understanding and cooperation. We can't wait to see you at DevFest! 💻🚀

Don't ever share your weak side with others🤫...they'll just blow it out of proportion. Keep it 💪to yourself and work on making it better. Instead, whenever you get the chance, tell people how much you love the things you have, even if they're not everyone's cup of tea🤦‍♀. Believe me, once you accept and embrace what you've got, others won't have a choice but to love it too💃💃"

It's miracle's journey

My earpad goes battery low…
So I’m just walking, minding my business, thinking about free will like some philosopher.

Then out of nowhere, this pretty girl shows up in front of me.
I’ve known the direction for 4 years straight… but my brain decides to malfunction and ask her anyway.

She says, “I’m heading there too.”
Cool. Destiny activated.

But here’s the plot twist:
My free will disappears like WiFi when the power goes out.
I suddenly SHOUT: “You’re pretty as hell!”
Crowd turns.
Old mamas start praying.
One “wede geta nu?” guy freezes in 144p. 😭😭

She gets shy.
Then I drop the cringiest line of the century:
“Zare chereka yelechma? Kenu snt new?”
She says yes.
Me: “Anchin tekta new.”
Why? I don’t know. Ask free will.

I ask for her number in the taxi.
She gives me a FAKE one.
My dum ahh calls immediately like a scammer doing verification.
“Lemin siliksh ayteram?”
She sighs: “Eski koy lew.”
Gives me the real number.

One dude was watching EVERYTHING.
Like a Netflix audience member.
Start to finish. No skipping.

On my way back…
I accidentally meet him again.
He goes, “Bro… I know her. We were classmates. You did good.”

At that moment even one arogit started megelameting my ahh 😭😭

After the whole saga…
I finally understood why I don’t use my free will.

But damn… it was one hell of a journey 😂😭

I honestly thought I was going to spend the next week building an API.
You know the drill: set up an Express server, connect Mongoose, write Schemas, debug connection errors, cry a little...

Then I tried Supabase.

I literally just pasted two API keys into my phone, wrote one line of code:
supabase.from('donations').insert({ amount: 50 })

And... it worked.
The data is there. Secure. Saved.

I’m sitting here waiting for the catch. Where is the hours of configuration? Where is the "Connection Refused" error?
It’s honestly scary how fast this was. I feel like I skipped a grade in school.( A lil dramatic I know 😁)

If you are a frontend dev scared of the "Backend" monster.. just use Supabase. It’s like having a Senior Backend Engineer in your pocket who does all the hard work for you.

We finally have a brain for the app. 🧠

Guys, here’s what I noticed today.

Most people in dev communities are genuinely there for you. They share what they know, give guidance, and help you see the path more clearly. I talked to many programmers I really wanted time with, and they were eager to help, explaining their journeys, offering advice, and sharing lessons from their own struggles.

They don’t want you to go through the same struggles they did. They tell you what to do, what to avoid, and what to focus on. That kind of openness is priceless.

And one more thing I deeply respect: when someone at an elite level is humble enough to listen, answer every question, and genuinely care. That humility is powerful.

The barrier to entry to be a great developer has always been decreasing. People have built new packages, frameworks, libraries and even programming languages to make building things easier. And even more people have been making courses explaining everything out there about those technologies. And yet not everyone has used all those tools but the ones who did they get their reward.

Now I am on the bunch who see AI like that. Its not like the other things because it literally does programming for you but if you know how to use it you could be shipping things fast. After attending these events one thing I learned is that to be okay with using AI its the norm now people. What you could add to it is bring your own problem think of ways of solving it and go on and solve it. Crazy honestly and hard accepting this change but we have to I guess.
