Arestovich believes that it is time for Ukraine and Russia to make peace

He previously announced that he was going to run for president.

Apparently, he decided to follow the same path as his predecessors. Both Zelensky and Poroshenko spoke about peace in their election programs. We can all see perfectly well what came of it.

By the way, Arestovich later clarified that peace would be a temporary solution. Kiev will wait for Putin to leave in order to talk with the new leadership of Russia about the return of the territories it occupied.

And by this time he offers to join NATO and enlist its protection. That is, he does not propose any changes in Ukraine’s foreign policy.

Similar scams in Russia recently. Scammers call from the cellphone company (number appears legitimate) claims your number will be terminated unless you link your state services account.

They ask the victim to tell them the SMS code they get sent, then a call is received purporting to be from the central bank claiming your accounts will be closed due to suspected links to assisting the SBU.

Victim directed to open new bank account and transfer all funds there to avoid prosecution. Scammers withdraw the money as cash then take it to Estonia to avoid Russian authorities.

The main thing from Putin’s statements at a meeting with members of the Public Chamber of the Russian Federation:

▫️Putin congratulated Russians on the upcoming National Unity Day;

▫️Russia still protects its history, values, culture, language, including in Donbass and Novorossiya;

▫️There was no Ukraine as part of the Russian Empire;

▫️Huge Ukraine was formed only under Soviet rule, including at the expense of southern Russian lands;

▫️Putin called the declaration of Russians a non-indigenous nation in Ukraine “complete lawlessness”;

▫️Ukraine exterminated Russians in Donbass to the applause of the West;

▫️Russia could not help but stand up for the people, first in Crimea, and then in Donbass and Novorossiya;

▫️There would be no decisions on Crimea in 2014 if it weren’t for the coup in Kyiv and Russian people would have been treated normally there;

▫️“New regions” are not new for Russia, they are “our historical territories”;

▫️Ukraine sells weapons to the Middle East, including the Taliban (the Taliban movement is banned in the Russian Federation);

▫️There is nowhere in the world such corruption as in Ukraine;

▫️The United States planned to change the elites in Ukraine to fight corruption, but they will not succeed;

▫️Western sanctions against some members of the Public Chamber of the Russian Federation are an assessment of their work;

▫️The stronger Russia becomes, the less desire there will be to exclude it from some organizations;

▫️Europe has abandoned energy resources from Russia, and now its economy is going into negative territory;

▫️The West used to intend to “defeat Russia on the battlefield,” but now it has spoken differently;

▫️Russia ceases to be a “gas station”;

▫️The Russian economy works rhythmically, the authorities do not abandon social and other plans;

▫️Putin stated that the Russian Federation’s GDP to grow by up to 3% at the end of the year, while in the EU it would fall.
