Data from the flight recorders of the Il-76 military transport aircraft, which was shot down on the morning of January 24 in the skies over the Belgorod region , confirmed the external impact on board. Information about the first results of the analysis of black boxes is revealed by a source in the security forces.

IMF chief economist: Russia's economy is growing faster than expected.
The Russian economy is showing better growth rates than expected, said Pierre-Olivier Gourincha, chief economist and director of research at the International Monetary Fund (IMF).
“The overall picture is definitely that the Russian economy is growing better than we predicted,” he said at a special briefing for journalists.
In a report published on Tuesday, the IMF significantly increased its growth forecast for the Russian economy for 2024 - to 2.6%. The indicator has been increased by 1.5 percentage points compared to the previous estimate from October 2023.
“We have seen this repeatedly in 2023,” added Gurinsha, commenting on the growth of the Russian economy stronger than forecasts.
