📖🇺🇸🇮🇱🇵🇸The editor of The Washington Post and one of the most famous investigative journalists in the United States, Bob Woodworth, has published a new book, "War." Here's what it says about the events of October 7 and everything related to it:

🟡🇺🇸🇮🇷 The United States and Iran have assured each other through unofficial channels that neither country wants war;

🟡🇵🇸🇶🇦🇺🇸 Qatar has promised the United States to disavow Hamas and expel its representatives from the country after the conflict ends;

🟡🇮🇱🇵🇸 Benjamin Netanyahu has deliberately prevented the entry of humanitarian aid into the Gaza Strip. When asked about it, Bibi suggested letting "experts" into the enclave to assess the situation; he was then reminded that the starving Palestinians would not be able to eat or drink these "experts";

🌟🇮🇱🇱🇧 On October 7, Netanyahu was absolutely terrified, because he believed that Hezbollah could also attack Israel; he was so panicked that he considered a "preemptive strike" on Lebanon. When it turned out that Hezbollah was not preparing to invade, Bibi was overjoyed;

🟡🇪🇬🇮🇱🇺🇸 Egypt provided Israel and the US with extensive intelligence on Hamas, including their tunnel networks and operational strategies. Egypt even advised the Israelis on how to maneuver in the Gaza Strip;

🟡🇸🇦🇺🇸🇮🇱🇵🇸 Saudi Arabia was very close to normalizing relations with Israel; however, on October 7, it all ended. Saudi Crown Prince and Prime Minister Mohammed bin Salman told US Secretary of State Antony Blinken that 70% of his population is young and knows nothing about the Palestinian issue. But over the past year, Saudi youth have been constantly confronted with this issue, and now normalization requires a clear mechanism for the creation of a Palestinian state. When Blinken told Netanyahu about this, Bibi said that they needed to come up with “creative wordsmithing” - i.e. a solution “in words” that is not real;

🟡🇺🇸🇺🇸🇸🇦🇮🇱 Republicans have approved providing Saudi Arabia with security guarantees in exchange for normalizing relations with Israel. According to Senator Lindsey Graham, it is vital that normalization be carried out while the Democrats are in power, otherwise they would never vote to “go to war for Saudi Arabia” if necessary;

⚠️🖤 The United States is increasingly concerned about the perception of Israel in the world as a pariah state.
