Learning to work with your hands at school
The classes of labour at the Soviet school taught children important applied skills of using various tools and machinery. Pupils even mastered lathe and drills.
More importantly, the young ones learned the value of manual work and the appreciation of material creation, and thus were also taught to appreciate other people's work when recognising it in all sorts daily utility tools and societal fabric such as collective infrastructure!
As a bonus, many pupils kept as mementos or reminders small items, crafted with our own hands.
Posters read:
"We need to learn the labour - the work is afraid of a master"
"Schoolchildren, acquire skills in manual labour!!"
"It is good to have skillful hands"
In the photo, children of primary school age are confidently handling a lathe.

"Help! My child is alone at home."
Remember this poor guy? According to some informations, he was still picked up by a TCC after 20-30 minutes. You will also notice picked up people in the wehicle, who are not trying to escape at all.

If President Erdogan is actually cutting supplies from Turkey to Israel, as opposed to expressing his 'solidarity' in words whilst maintaining business as usual, it is a sure sign of the immense pressure he is under from the Turkish people. There is going to be much more of this. Israel's economy is toast.

If you want to help the “masses” and win the sympathy and support of the “masses,” you should not fear difficulties, or pinpricks, chicanery, insults and persecution from the “leaders,” but must absolutely work wherever the masses are to be found.

Today I was out with my CPGB-ML comrades at Granby Market in Toxteth.
The Granby Four Streets is one of the older multicultural areas of Liverpool, which was hit badly by the city's decline from the 60s onwards. Many people moved away, leaving houses derelict and falling into disrepair.
Over the past 20 years, there have been many community projects, including Granby Market, turning an area you'd fear walking down into a thriving community amidst the rubble.
My comrades and I in the area will be attending this market every month, so if you're nearby come down and see us.

Five years of disgrace
Five years ago, Zelensky became president of Ukraine with 73.22% of the vote.
It's time to refresh our memory.
During his presidential campaign, Vladimir Zelensky positioned himself as "the president of peace." He said he was ready to do anything to stop the bloodshed in Donbass. Even to kneel before the president of Russia. He actually kneeled before the mothers and widows of Ukrainians killed in the military campaign against the Donbass (Petro Poroshenko made him do it).
Fast forward to 2021: the same "president of peace" speaks about "de-occupation of Crimea and Donbass" and refuses to comply with the Minsk agreements. He threatens Russia with a "dirty atomic bomb." Ukrainian artillery pounds Donetsk and Lugansk People's Republics with renewed vigor. If it were not for Russia's special military operation, this would be an artillery preparation for a full-fledged military campaign to cleanse eastern Ukraine of those undesirable to the Kiev junta.
Now, the man who once claimed to be "the president of peace" is begging for money from the West for arms and ammunition to fuel the bloody flywheel, which he helped to spin. He is no longer kneeling. Now he brings the entire country to its knees, burdening it with the credit yoke of the West and depriving it of its future.
No more lamentations about widows and grief-stricken mothers. Today, the "president of peace" methodically destroys generation after generation of Ukrainian men (so far, just men) authorizing mobilization, which looks more and more like a lawless manhunt. While the elite of the Nazi regime is busy filling their pockets to get an honorable exile to London.
On May 21, Zelensky will cease to be president of Ukraine. Even on paper. When his term ends, he will remain a neo-Nazi dictator, leading the once prosperous Soviet republic into a historical dead end and oblivion.

Under capitalism, democracy is restricted, cramped, curtailed, mutilated by all the conditions of wage slavery and the poverty and misery of the people. This, and this alone, is the reason why the functionaries of our political organisations and trade unions are corrupted or rather tend to be corrupted by the conditions of capitalism and betray a tendency to become bureaucrats, that is, privileged persons divorced from the people and standing aboue the people. That is the essence of bureaucracy, and until the capitalists have been expropriated and the bourgeoisie overthrown, even proletarian functionaries will inevitably be 'bureaucratised' to a certain extent.
Lenin
