If you're looking for a useful bit of kit I would recommend purchasing an ereader. Remember, it's as important to train your mind as it is to train your body.
You can store more books than you'll ever read in a small space, have them at your fingertips anywhere and download whatever you want for free. It's really useful, especially if you're like me an don't like holding alot of physical possessions.
Another useful thing is that this is a device which distracts you from that other small device you're always looking at. Useful for when you catch a train or get into bed (because the ink screen has no refresh rate it doesn't strain your eyes like an LED in other devices).
Further the one pictured (kobo H20) has backlit screen for late night reading, and is waterproof, so it performs awesome in the tub after a long day.
I've had mine 3 months and zero regrets

Today I was practicing a nice footwork movement called the diamond step.
I really like the fluidity of this movement, the weight shifts from left side of your body to the right, as you slip, pivot and skip.
Although I'm a newbie when it comes to boxing, I feel like this movement is powerful for opening angles and a staple of dexterous footwork. You can see from the other video that it's quite deadly too.
Here is the video tutorial for the movement

The purest relationship is one where people don't "need" each other
Companionship is based on genuine longing for the other
If you "need" someone, then you are selfish.
Because you are trying to fill a void in your life through them.
Expectations, will dilute the truthfulness, sincerity in relationships
Giving to other, without expectations, is pure and pious.
Any other relationship is just based on compromises and self interest
A lifelong deal of inexplicable suffering and frustration

Just finished this excellent kinstretch class.
I do a lot of boxing footwork, this class is made for power lifters wanting to improve their squat - it's equally good for both.
Kinstretch is versatile, its aim is to improve your function, health and control of the catalyst of all your movements, your joints and their CNS connectivity
Adding in a kinstretch session once or twice a week to target a location will greatly increase the locations effectiveness. The one below is for squat. But there are all sorts of free classes for other types (great for deload weeks & injuries too).

The link is about the degeneracy of the fish meat industry, but the same trend of degeneration is applicable to any industry really
My meat diet is mostly fish but this is making me think that long term I need some further solutions.
Congrats on being the slim minority who have the intellectual honesty to take such situations on board. Now act on it.
Personally, I'm gtfo'ing of the heart of a densely populated European city for coast and rural spaces.

In due course we shall come back to the starting point. Time cannot take us out of time, as space cannot take us out of space. All you get by waiting is more waiting. Absolute perfection is here and now, not in some future, near or far. The secret is in action—here and now. It is your behaviour that blinds you to yourself. Disregard whatever you think yourself to be and act as if you were absolutely perfect—whatever your idea of perfection may be. All you need is courage.

This is something I'm going to incorporate into my daily awareness practice.
Morning meditation, supplemented with gratitude and manifestation practice.
Negative thoughts throughout the day should be inverted to affirm the positive.
This idea of 'as I think, so I become' is evidently true for the negative, so why not the positive. Guess we will find out...

Lung Capacity is one of the best predictors of Longevity
Recently I started reading this book, its already very good, it's well written, informative and engaging.
I feel like breathing is something that has been severely lacking personally and that many unknowingly struggle with this affliction.
Daily practice will be incorporated, and ill be sure to post some breathing techniques and a tldr here when finished.
From what I've read thus far, mastering the breath seems a game changer

They gathered two decades of data from 5,200 subjects, crunched the numbers, and discovered that the greatest indicator of life span wasn’t genetics, diet, or the amount of daily exercise, as many had suspected. It was lung capacity. - James Nestor
This knowledge provides a different frame with which to assess what aspects of ourselves we should improve. It's all good to read, pray and lift, but perhaps the first and foremost function upon which our existence depends needs to be improved and strengthened too.
I'll be posting some exercises to this channel on how you can improve your lung capacity and function soon

Self awareness is like an onion. There are multiple layers to it. The more you peel back, the more you’ll gain new insights on yourself. By exploring the different facets of your personality, you’ll begin to realize your one true face from the various masks you put on to function in society.
This self-knowledge is what compounds to wisdom. You’ll begin to receive direct guidance from the divine intelligence that organizes all of life itself.
The deeper you go, the more likely you are going to start crying randomly.
Become your own sage 🥋
