'Āsim reported that Abū 'Āliyah said regarding the verse:
حدثنا عبد الله بن كثير أبو صديف الآمُلي، قال: حدثنا هاشم بن القاسم، قال: حدثنا حمزة بن المغيرة، عن عاصم، عن أبي العالية، في قوله:
{Guide us to the straight path} [Al-Fatiha 1:6]
(اهْدِنَا الصِّرَاطَ الْمُسْتَقِيمَ) ،
It is the Messenger ﷺ and his two companions after him: Abū Bakr and 'Umar (may Allāh be pleased with them).

Ibrāhīm al-Harbī reported:
أَخْبَرَنَا عُمَر بْن إِبْرَاهِيم الفقيه، قَالَ: أَخْبَرَنَا مقاتل بْن مُحَمَّد بْن بنان العكي، قَالَ: حضرت مع أَبِي وأخي عند أَبِي إِسْحَاق، يَعْنِي إِبْرَاهِيم الحربي،
Ibrāhīm An-Nakha'ī said to my father: “Are these your children?”
فَقَالَ إِبْرَاهِيم لأبي: هؤلاء أولادك؟
He said: “Yes.”
قَالَ: نعم،
Ibrāhīm said: “Beware of letting your children see you do what Allāh prohibited, that would make you fall [in status] in their eyes.”

Shaykh 'Allāmah Zayd Al-Madkhali (may Allāh have mercy on him) said (in a poem on coffee):
قال الشيخ العلامة زيد المدخلي رحمه الله
“Coffee -Bunn- is refreshing for the bodies,
وقهوةُ البُنِّ للأبدانِ مُنْعِشةٌ
Its taste is enjoyable like dough and honey,
مذاقُهَا مُمتعٌ كالبُرِ والعسلِ
The companion of life, in travel it is friendly,
رفيقةُ العُمْرِ في الأسفارِ مُؤنسةٌ
Like the smell of musk when it spreads undoubtedly.
كنفحةِ المِسْكِ إن فاحتْ بلَا جدلِ
And (it is) aspired by the soul in a delightful morning,
وبُغْيةُ النَّفسِ في الإصْبَاح مُبهجةٌ
It pleases a companion when it is served at the time of leisure.
تَسُرُّ إلْفًا مَتَى جاءَتْ على مَهَلِ
O if one could have a cup [of coffee] made by an expert,
ِيا حبَّذا الشِرْبَ إنْ صاغتهُ ماهِرةٌ
To honour [with it] the guest who arrives and the traveler,
لِتُكْرِمَ الضَّيْفَ مِـنْ آتٍ ومُرْتحِل
In every house it is mentioned in excellence,
في كُـلِّ بيتٍ لَهَا ذِكْرٌ ومَنْقَبَةٌ
It causes a companion to laugh with friendliness without foolishness,
تُضَاحِكُ الخِلَّ إينَاساً بِلا خَطَلِ
It says ‘marhaban (welcome)’ and smiles for a long time,
تقولُ مرحى وطول الوقتِ بَاسِمَةٌ
It repeats the welcome; of high value and example,
تُعِيدُ مَرْحَى رَفيعَ القَـدْرِ والمُثُلِ
There is no blame in it and it is free of intoxicants,
لا عيب فيهــا ومِنْ غَوْلٍ مُبَرَّأَةٌ
So drink it purely and do not fear any illness.”
فاشْربها صِرْفًا ولا تخشى من العِلَلِ”

An Imām said: “I will lead you people in Ramadān for a certain amount of money.”

Abū Hurayrah (may Allāh be pleased with him) reported:
3366 ـ أَخْبَرَنَا الْحَسَنُ بْنُ سُفْيَانَ: حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الْمِنْهَالِ الضَّرِيرُ: حَدَّثَنَا يَزِيدُ بْنُ زُرَيْعٍ: حَدَّثَنَا رَوْحِ بْنِ الْقَاسِمِ , عَنِ ابْنِ عَجْلَانَ , عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ أَبِي سَعِيدٍ , عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ:
The Prophet ﷺ ordered with charity,
أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ - صَلَّى الله عليه وسلم - حَثَّ ذَاتَ يَوْمٍ عَلَى الصَّدَقَةِ ,
So a man said: “Oh Messenger of Allāh, I have a dinār (where do I spend it)?”
فَقَالَ رَجُلٌ: يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ! عِنْدِي دِينَارٌ؟
So he ﷺ said: “Spend it on yourself.”
فَقَالَ:((تَصَدَّقْ بِهِ عَلَى نَفْسِكِ)).
The man said: “I have another (where do I spend it?)?”
قَالَ: عِنْدِي آخَرُ؟
So he ﷺ said: “Spend it on your child.”
قَالَ:((تَصَدَّقْ بِهِ عَلَى وَلَدِكَ)).
The man said: “I have another (where do I spend it)?”
قَالَ: عِنْدِي آخَرُ؟
So he ﷺ said: “Spend it on your wife.”
قَالَ:((تَصَدَّقْ بِهِ عَلَى زَوْجَتِكَ)).
So the man continued asking the Prophet ﷺ: “I have another dinār (where do I spend it)?”
قَالَ: عِنْدِي آخَرُ؟
So he ﷺ said: “Spend it on your servant.”
قَالَ:((تَصَدَّقْ بِهِ عَلَى خَادِمِكَ)).
The man said: “I have another.”
قَالَ: عندي آخر؟
So he ﷺ said: “You see best [where to spend it].”
قال: ((أنت أبصر)).

3366 ـ أَخْبَرَنَا الْحَسَنُ بْنُ سُفْيَانَ: حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الْمِنْهَالِ الضَّرِيرُ: حَدَّثَنَا يَزِيدُ بْنُ زُرَيْعٍ: حَدَّثَنَا رَوْحِ بْنِ الْقَاسِمِ , عَنِ ابْنِ عَجْلَانَ , عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ أَبِي سَعِيدٍ , عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ:
The Prophet ﷺ ordered with charity,
أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ - صَلَّى الله عليه وسلم - حَثَّ ذَاتَ يَوْمٍ عَلَى الصَّدَقَةِ ,
So a man said: “Oh Messenger of Allāh, I have a dinār (where do I spend it)?”
فَقَالَ رَجُلٌ: يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ! عِنْدِي دِينَارٌ؟
So he ﷺ said: “Spend it on yourself.”
فَقَالَ:((تَصَدَّقْ بِهِ عَلَى نَفْسِكِ)).
The man said: “I have another (where do I spend it?)?”
قَالَ: عِنْدِي آخَرُ؟
So he ﷺ said: “Spend it on your child.”
قَالَ:((تَصَدَّقْ بِهِ عَلَى وَلَدِكَ)).
The man said: “I have another (where do I spend it)?”
قَالَ: عِنْدِي آخَرُ؟
So he ﷺ said: “Spend it on your wife.”
قَالَ:((تَصَدَّقْ بِهِ عَلَى زَوْجَتِكَ)).
So the man continued asking the Prophet ﷺ: “I have another dinār (where do I spend it)?”
قَالَ: عِنْدِي آخَرُ؟
So he ﷺ said: “Spend it on your servant.”
قَالَ:((تَصَدَّقْ بِهِ عَلَى خَادِمِكَ)).
The man said: “I have another.”
قَالَ: عندي آخر؟
So he ﷺ said: “You see best [where to spend it].”
قال: ((أنت أبصر)).

Jābir (may Allāh be pleased with him) reported that the Prophet Muḥammad ﷺ said:

This is the best evidence for the recommendation to bath on the two ʿĪd celebrations, narrated by al-Bayhaqī:
" فائدة ": وأحسن ما يستدل به على استحباب الاغتسال للعيدين ما روى البيهقى
A man once asked ʿAlī – Allah be pleased with him – about taking a full bath (ġusl).
من طريق الشافعى عن زاذان قال: سأل رجل عليا رضى الله عنه عن الغسل؟
He replied, “Wash every day if you want.”
قال: اغتسل كل يوم إن شئت،
The man said, “No, what I mean is al-ġusl.”
فقال: لا، الغسل الذى هو الغسل،
ʿAli replied, “al-Jumuʿah (Friday), the Day of ʿArafah, the Day of al-Naḥr (sacrificial slaughter, ʿĪd al-Adhā) and the Day of al-Fiṭr (the ʿĪd following Ramaḍān).”
قال: يوم الجمعة، ويوم عرفة، ويوم النحر، ويوم الفطر.
The chain of narration is authentic.
وسنده صحيح.

فقال: لا، الغسل الذى هو الغسل،
ʿAli replied, “al-Jumuʿah (Friday), the Day of ʿArafah, the Day of al-Naḥr (sacrificial slaughter, ʿĪd al-Adhā) and the Day of al-Fiṭr (the ʿĪd following Ramaḍān).”
قال: يوم الجمعة، ويوم عرفة، ويوم النحر، ويوم الفطر.

Ibn Umar reported: The Messenger of Allāh ﷺ said, “Whoever goes to sleep in a state of purity will have an angel over his head and he will not awaken until the angel says: O Allāh, forgive your servant for he has slept with ablution.”

Wāthila bin Al-Asqa reported that the Prophet ﷺ said:
أَخْبَرَنَا إِبْرَاهِيمُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ، وَمُحَمَّدُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ، قَالَا: ثنا أَبُو طَالِبِ بْنُ سَوَادَةَ، حَدَّثَنِي مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عُثْمَانَ، ثنا عُبَيْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ مُوسَى، ثنا عَنْبَسَةُ بْنُ سَعِيدٍ، عَنْ حَمَّادٍ مَوْلَى بَنِي أُمَيَّةَ، عَنْ جُنَاحٍ مَوْلَى الْوَلِيدِ، عَنْ وَاثِلَةَ، قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ:
“It is not for the woman to spend anything from her wealth, except with the permission of her husband.”

“It is not befitting for the husband, if he is a true Muslim, to take advantage of/misuse this ruling therefore transgressing against his wife,
ولكن لا ينبغي للزوج - إذا كان مسلما صادقا - أن يستغل هذا الحكم، فيتجبر على زوجته،
Preventing her from spending her wealth in that which there's no good upon her from him.
ويمنعها من التصرف في مالها فيما لا ضير عليهما منه،
Therefore, if her husband transgressed against her and prevented her from spending her money in a manner that is legislated, then the judge is to straighten out the affair and give her justice.”
وما أشبه هذا الحق بحق ولي البنت التي لا يجوز لها أن تزوج نفسها بدون إذن وليها، فإذا أعضلها رفعت الأمر إلى القاضي الشرعي لينصفها
