港鐵車務及本地板塊營運總管黃琨暐先生指，一列列車準備停在銅鑼灣站時，一對車門疑遭鬆脫的廣告牌部件撞到而脫落，當時列車車速已經很低

工程人員已完成臨時加固措施，並會於收車後詳細檢查

部分港島綫車站曾於事故期間關閉，港鐵已安排90部巴士接載乘客

A pair of train doors had detached from an Island Line train as it arrived into Causeway Bay Station at slow speed, said Mr. Sammy Wong, MTR Chief of Operating and Metro Segment

The doors were likely to have been struck by loosened advertising panel parts

Temporary fixtures have been fitted and a thorough inspection will be carried out when train service ends tonight

90 replacement buses were arranged to help keep passengers moving during the course

MTR Bus Temporary Express Route K66A 🚌

Operates on every Saturday, Sundays and Public holiday from 4/Dec - 16/Jan/2022

Service will depart Long Ping Station from 0900 - 1500 hours and make the return journey at 1300 - 1900 hours

Buses will operate at 10 - 20 mins intervals for conveying passengers to Tai Tong and relieve the crowd to Yuen Long Town Centre 🍂 👥
