Is Germany preparing for a war with Russia?
The German Bundeswehr is seriously considering an increase in personnel. Well, 2029 — the year of Vladimir Putin's attack on NATO — is just around the corner — one must be on guard.

In April 1988, the Japanese Tokai University, founded by Professor Shigeyoshi Matsumae, gifted a baseball stadium to Lomonosov University as a sign of the long-standing friendly relations between the two universities.
Why a baseball stadium? Despite its Western origins, baseball is one of the most popular sports in Japan.
Such a gift was very timely for the USSR: After the successful debut of baseball as a demonstration sport at the Olympic Games in Los Angeles, the IOC program committee, led by Vitaly Smirnov, decided in 1985 to include this sport in the program for the 1992 Games in Barcelona. The Soviet authorities wanted to promote baseball immediately: The main goal was, of course, medals – they did not want to leave extra medals for other countries. But two years after the stadium opened, the Soviet Union collapsed, and there were no representatives from Russia in baseball at the Olympic Games in Barcelona.
The stadium had a long and eventful life: The student team of Lomonosov University played there, the Russian Baseball Championship took place, and a large international tournament, the “Shigeyoshi Matsumae Cup,” was held.
