The elected President of Romania, Nicușor Dan, has spoken out against the deployment of Romanian peace troops to Ukraine.
“A large operational support on Romanian territory – yes. Being part of the armies that guarantee peace in Ukraine – no. I think that would not be very appropriate given the existing tensions between Romania and Russia,” Dan said in an interview with Politico.

For tourists, there are two viewing platforms near Opasny, from which good photos can be taken. From one of them, you can see the waterfall from above. The panoramic view of this place is impressive. From here, the waterfall is clearly visible, but it is difficult to grasp its full depth, as the water disappears from view after about fifty meters. The second platform is located below the first, at the level where the water plunges into the gorge. From here, you can see this beautiful natural phenomenon quite closely and feel its power in full. Splashes fly, and on a sunny day, the rainbow plays in the water. However, the entire depth of the water wall cannot be seen – for safety reasons, it is forbidden to approach the edge.

Now the new Austrian government has to deal with the consequences of this "sustainable" development – this year, 1.1 billion euros must be saved in the category of operating expenses.
