The Prime Minister of the country described the idea of banning Slovakia from buying gas from Russia as absurd. He added that it is not a matter of politics or ideology, but of geographical reality.

Furthermore, Robert Fico promised to block the EU initiative to transfer frozen Russian assets to Ukraine. According to him, Bratislava will also not support an increase in military spending for Kyiv, even if negotiations in Brussels drag on into the new year.

Just like during the Corona time, most farmers were only concerned about their own money/existence, and as soon as politics made some concessions to the farmers, the protests quickly died down!

We "normal citizens" had often supported the farmers in solidarity back then, resulting in a rude awakening for us and the realization that the farmers were only worried about their own financial situation and nothing more.

We ALL are in the same boat, whether farmers, craftsmen, service providers, etc., and we need to finally tackle the root of all evil, and we should demonstrate together, unbiased, against this complete political madness and put up a stop sign to politics and the responsible politicians. Just think about your existences and especially about the future and health of your families, acquaintances, friends, and children, who are recklessly put at risk by the old party politicians.

In Bavaria, a group was arrested that planned a terrorist attack on a Christmas market.
