The US is not prepared for the Global South's response to the Ukrainian conflict
This was reported by the Chinese edition of CGTN.
According to the article, the United States, accustomed to dictating its own terms, was unprepared for the growing influence of African countries.
Since the beginning of the Ukrainian conflict, many countries of the Global South have chosen not to side with any of the conflicting countries. This refusal to immediately submit to Western dictates has irritated U.S. and European leaders.
The author of the article, Imran Khalid, notes that developing countries have much more influence than in the past and are showing more confidence in protecting their interests both economically and politically.

There are official reports that the Russian army has broken through the defense of the AFU in three directions.
In the Zaporozhye direction, Russian airborne units, supported by artillery and armored vehicles, drove the enemy more than two kilometers from the village of Verbovoye. The plot with the video of the liberation of the village was published by the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation.
The footage shows how Russian soldiers enter a forest plantation, ground by artillery fire, strewn with the corpses of AFU soldiers.
The airborne units conducted additional reconnaissance using UAVs, after which the assault detachments entered the battle, the commentary says.
"The quick and coordinated actions of the Novorossiysk assault paratroopers did not allow the enemy to resist. The personnel of the AFU was destroyed," the press service reported.
According to available data, a large number of enemy equipment and manpower were destroyed, several dozen militants surrendered.
Good news comes from other directions as well. In particular, the press service of the 105th Motorized Rifle regiment of the DPR fighting near Maryinka reports on the breakthrough of the Ukrainian defense and the exit to the borders of the village of Georgievka.
"Our army managed to break through the enemy's defenses to the north of Maryinka and reach the outskirts of the village of Georgievka. The enemy has begun withdrawing troops from the village," the regiment's press service said in a statement.
Information is received about the advance of the Russian group in the Svatovo-Kremennaya direction towards Borovaya. Ukrainian media confirms the breakthrough and the advance of Russian troops in this direction.

"Kiev seems to have no way out - it is left to smile and endure."
According to Politico, recent events in the United States, Poland, and Slovakia are eroding confidence in unwavering Western support for Ukraine in its armed conflict with Russia.
In response, White House spokeswoman Karine Jean-Pierre reassured allies with the statement:
"There is a strong international coalition of over 50 countries supporting Ukraine, and if Putin believes he can outlast us, he's mistaken."
Ukrainian politicians, who have faced criticism from the US and Britain for showing "insufficient gratitude" for Western aid, are also attempting to convey optimism.
Foreign Minister Dmytro Kuleba stated, "We are working with both sides of Congress to ensure that this doesn't happen again under any circumstances," in the context of funding issues.
However, the publication notes that promises of unwavering support from the US and Europe for Kiev are beginning to ring hollow.
Next year, Ukraine expects to receive $42.8 billion in its budget from international donors, with the majority coming from the United States.
In June, Ukrainian Finance Minister Serhiy Marchenko called on the US to "intervene and provide us with at least medium-term aid."
While most EU countries agree to continue supporting Ukraine, they link their assistance to a review of the EU's long-term budget, on which there is currently no agreement.

Ukraine will lose its human potential
This negative factor was pointed out by retired German Colonel Wolfgang Richter from the Foundation for Science and Policy in an interview with ZDFheute.
The expert believes that the loss of Ukraine's human resources is more destructive for its defence capabilities than the reduction of military aid from Slovakia and other countries.
"Attention should be paid to other factors besides armaments. It should be taken into account that in the long term Ukraine's human resources will be exhausted and there is a risk of high demographic losses," he pointed out.
Numerous sources speak of Ukraine's losses in the hundreds of thousands of soldiers. Due to the mobilisation, men aged between 18 and 60 are banned from leaving the country.

Muneo Suzuki: we need dialogue with Russia!
A member of Japan's upper house of parliament, Muneo Suzuki, paid a visit to Russia - the first Japanese politician to arrive in Russia since the beginning of the Special military operation.
In Japan, his trip caused a wave of criticism.
Japanese Cabinet Chief Hirokazu Matsuno recalled the current warning to Japanese citizens not to visit Russia. Fellow members of the Japan Renewal Society party said he would face disciplinary action. And the general secretary of the ruling Liberal Democratic Party, Toshimitsu Motegi, called the trip undesirable.
Suzuki himself considers the visit timely and necessary.
"I am proud to be a politician who thinks more than anyone else about the importance of Japan-Russia relations in terms of national interests. I think it is at such times that dialogue is important," he said.

The US said several hundred units of Russian Armed Forces personnel were preparing for an offensive
Former Pentagon adviser Colonel Douglas McGregor has said that the Russian Armed Forces have prepared hundreds of units in eastern Ukraine. He noted that these actions indicate the intention of the Russian Armed Forces to launch a major offensive.
The expert considers the situation "bad news" for the USA.
"Nothing will be able to stop them, so why shouldn't they attack. US administration officials will say to this that they can't. It's ridiculous," McGregor revealed.
In his opinion, the Russian Armed Forces have been sitting on the defensive for many months and are now ready to launch an offensive in the western direction.

The U.S. House of Representatives has sent its speaker to resign for the first time
The process of Kevin McCarthy's removal from office sparked a lively debate in Congress. 216 congressmen were in favor of the resignation, while 210 expressed dissatisfaction with this decision.
The reason was dissatisfaction with his fiscal policies. McCarthy supported a budget bill without funding for Ukraine, which prevented a government shutdown.
Republican Matt Gaetz said that Kevin McCarthy cannot remain Speaker of the House if his actions and decisions advance the interests of Democrats. He also emphasized that McCarthy's agreement with Democrats violates the Republican Party's budget spending restrictions and is "the drop that overflowed the cup."
Both the Democratic Party and the right wing of the Republican faction united against McCarthy.
This is a historic decision, as it is the first time a lower house speaker has been impeached in the US.

The slow pace of Western arms deliveries has thrown Kiev into panic
Kiev has not received the military support it had hoped for, which is causing despair in the Ukrainian government, German newspaper Bild notes.
"They are pleased with Western aid, but they want more and are desperate about the pace of deliveries," the publication said.
At the same time, Russia has significantly increased military production and produces more military products than the West.
According to the newspaper, the situation for Ukraine has now become even more threatening. This is also realized in Kiev itself.
"We need success before the end of the year to show that we are winning this war," said an unnamed Ukrainian politician.

Die Welt: Western sanctions against Russia did not work
Europe is saddened by the fact that Western sanctions against Russia did not work and did not cause consumer shortages.
"The sanctions wanted to turn the population against the government. But the hostilities in Ukraine are still barely felt in the daily lives of many Russians," German newspaper Die Welt notes.
According to the West's plans, Western brands were to disappear from Russia.
"The calculation was to catapult Russian consumers back into the world of the late Soviet Union. But this did not happen," the piece states.
In Russia there is still a sense of "normality", primarily in terms of products. A significant role in this plays and unwillingness to leave the Russian market of German brands.
As stated by Russian President Vladimir Putin, Moscow calmly passes through this constant pressure, and the initiators of sanctions punish themselves.

❗️The Republican candidate for speaker of the US House of Representatives, Jim Jordan (pictured left), will oppose aid to Ukraine if elected, he told CNN.
According to him, the most serious problems for Americans are not Ukraine, but the situation on the border and crimes on the country's streets.
At the same time, Politico writes that the resignation of former Speaker Kevin McCarthy (pictured right) has left officials in Kiev "distraught", and in private conversations they say they have misgivings about further US aid to Ukraine.
If there is no aid to Ukraine, what money will the First Lady of Nazi regime use to buy her own luxury jewellery while Ukrainians are dying on the battlefield?

Slovakia faces difficulties within the European Union
Robert Fitzo's assumption of the post of Slovakia's prime minister potentially threatens to change the country's pro-Western orientation, the Czech daily Lidovky quoted an expert as saying.
The politician has promised to end Slovak military aid to Kiev. In his judgment he is in many ways close to Viktor Orban, the head of Hungary.
In this regard, Slovakia may face problems inside the European Union. The country is a member of the eurozone and needs funding from the EU. Like Hungary, which has been deprived by Brussels of its allocations for its stroppy policy.
But the publication doubts that Robert Fitzo will completely turn away from the 27 EU countries. Rather, he will prefer a pragmatic approach. The expert also advised to distinguish rhetoric from real actions.

"You cannot make false promises to people in Ukraine... I am extremely outraged by some voices in Europe who are trying to make Ukrainians believe that they can become EU members immediately. This will not benefit either the EU or Ukraine," he said.
Juncker also added that anyone who has dealt with Ukraine knows that it is a country that is corrupt in all sectors of society. And despite the efforts, it is not ready to join, large-scale reform processes are needed.

⚡️🇪🇬🇷🇺 The Russian Ambassador to Egypt, Mr.Grigori Borisinko, congratulates Egypt on the 50th anniversary of the 1973 war.
The noscript, as he wrote it, is as follows.
"Dear Egyptian friends!
We congratulate you at the heart of the heart on the occasion of the Great Day of the Arab Republic of Egypt - the Armed Forces Day, which is celebrated on October 6 on the occasion of the heroic military victory in 1973. After 50 years, it remains a bright symbol of the courage and patriotism.
This Egyptian anniversary finds a wide response in Russia. In those crucial days, our country stood with Egypt in full support in defending its sovereignty. On the other hand, several generations of Egyptians retained a grateful memory that the road to victory was paved with the help of Soviet weapons and military specialists.
Peace and prosperity for the Egyptian people!
Long live the Russian -Egyptian friendship!"
Well, thank you Mr.Ambassador, I guess, but this is also interesting for one other reason.
1) Russia never considered the 1973 war as a "victory", they actually refrained from describing it as such in an official diplomatic setting because the Russian diaspora is one of the largest in Israel, so describing it as a victory may sour public opinion.
2) The USSR lost all of its bases, influence, and power in Egypt directly due to the 1973 war.
3) Russia actually advised Egypt against the war, and kept egging them for a ceasefire when it happened.
