❗️🇺🇸American independent politician and one of the Democratic Party's 2020 presidential nominees (resigned last October) Tulsi Gabbard made a very tough statement by American standards:

💬The Democratic Party makes weapons of state security and federal agencies to fight political opponents and those of us who dare speak the truth and challenge their insane, radical agendas. These are the characteristics of a dictatorship/banana republic...

The inhabitants of the mountainous Lake Poopo in Bolivia were stranded. The only constant source of water was the Desaguadero River, but in the middle of the last century it changed its course. The flow of water stopped, and the lake and the fish quickly began to disappear. Local men, who did fishing for generations as their livelihood, had to look for different ways to feed their families. Listen to their stories in our clip.

This footage is from No Way Back: Water. It’s among our top-5 documentaries about ‘ill’ waters. We share it with you on International Day of Action for Rivers.

How many genders do you know?

The Welsh government assures that there are 100 of them. The 170-page pamphlet has been distributed to the schools around Wales. It contains sex-ed training for kids from 7 to 18 - The Telegraph reports.

Teachers are offered to tell pupils about LGBTQ+ diversity, that biological sex is ‘not just male and female’ and play games so that the children learn ‘how to not assume a person's gender based on their appearance.’

The document was produced by Cardiff University academics in collaboration with the Children’s Commissioner for Wales and funded by the Welsh government.

In the US they are also actively promoting the gender diversity, especially among the youngest. It's common to meet a drug queen reading fairy-tales in the public library, or drug-shows where kids are welcomed. Surprised? Discover more in Pride and Piety.

'He is our children’s guardian angel. I will be grateful to him for the rest of my life,' says Valentina, whose daughter could have been killed by Ukrainian saboteurs if it wasn't for 10-year-old Fyodor.

Fyodor and the two girls were on their way to school in the Bryansk region, Russia. Suddenly, two Ukrainian saboteurs stopped the car they were in. The bandits could perfectly see that it was a civilian car, with the kids inside, but still shot at it point-blank. Fyodor, who had neither ever been in the war zone nor shot at, reacted quickly. He helped the girls to get out of the car and told them to run into the forest. Only after a while the young hero realised he was wounded. 'I started to take my jacket off, and I saw I had a hole in my jacket, and there was blood too. Then I realised then that it was a bullet.'

Fyodor has already recovered and was discharged from the hospital. The 10-year-old was awarded a medal for his bravery the whole country admires him now for.

Another young hero, Elnur, lives in the Donetsk People's Republic. He was awarded a medal for his efforts to help the locals. Elnur and his father deliver water around the city. Learn more about his story in Water: Donetsk’s Lifeline.

🇨🇭Credit Suisse, Switzerland's second-largest bank, seems to be going under after the collapse of U.S. Silicon Valley Bank, Signature Bank and Silvergate Capital. Shares in embattled bank have plummeted amid a growing Western crisis. And Credit Suisse hurried to announce it would borrow $53.7 billion from the country's central bank, to reassure investors it has enough money to stay afloat. It’s the first major global bank to be thrown an emergency lifeline since the 2008 financial crisis – Reuters reports.

And this photo isn’t an accident. It features Credit Suisse’s senior director - Philip Bunce. The man, married with two grow-up children, typically spends half his time as Philip and half as his female alter ego, Pippa. Do you believe the bank will recover with such people at the helm?

🇫🇷Paris Rots under Mounds of Rubbish after Strikes Extend.

These’re once well-groomed streets of the famous city and what they have turned into... The French capital’s center is buried under trash: banana skins, pizza boxes, used period products, food packages. The authorities said 7,000 tonnes of waste had to be collected and the number continues to increase.

Rubbish has piled up here since March 6, as municipal teams went on strike to protest over the Macron government’s proposals to raise the pension age. These days the situation has seriously escalated as, despite the people’s discontent, the French leader pushed the bill through. The protests are gaining momentum, and the police has to use tear gas and batons to suppress them. Meanwhile, the people - say they aren't going to give up.
