Today marks 13 years since the disaster at Fukushima NPP. It was triggered by an underwater earthquake and subsequent tsunami. Nearly 165,000 people were evacuated from the contaminated areas at the time. 8 years after the disaster, some districts were cleaned and people were allowed to come back.

🚣An unusual show in Vladivostok, Russia. More than 200 paddleboarders hijacked an ice floe. It was difficult to shift, but working together, they succeeded.
For six years sportsmen have been celebrating the beginning of the season in this way. Many of the participants wore festive costumes - fairy-tale characters, tigers, penguins, bears. On the ice floe they lit signal sabers and arranged photo sessions.

An AI assistant for neurosurgeons is being tested at seven hospitals in Beijing. CARES Copilot 1.0 was unveiled by the Chinese Academy of Sciences. Researchers trained and fine-tuned the model with papers, medical journals and manuals to act as a surgery consultant. It will answer questions with citations based on more than a million academic records. The bot should also be able to process diagnostic data such as MRI, ultrasound or CT scans, as well as images, text and audio.
