The Prophet Muhammad (ﷺ) said:
"Be mindful of Allah, and you will find Him in front of you. Remember Allah in times of ease and prosperity, and He will remember you in times of hardship and adversity. And know that which has passed you by and missed you, was never going to befall you, and whatever has befallen you was never going to miss you.
And know that victory comes with patience, and relief comes with affliction, and with hardship comes ease."

Success only comes from Allah ﷻ and pleasing him.
There are some people who become successful in this temporary world but their hereafter is in ruins.
There are some who don’t have success in this Dunya but their hereafter will be better.
Then there are those who will have both.

Being lenient when asking for debts back
Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) said, "May Allah's mercy be on him who is lenient in his buying, selling, and in demanding back his money." [Bukhari 2076]
Ibn Hajar said: “Among the benefits of this narration:
• It is encouraged to be easygoing in dealings, keep away from greed and use lofty manners.
• It is urged to keep away from pressuring people when asking for debts back, as well as accepting their excuses and pleas for pardon.”
[Fat-h Al-Baari (4/307)]

*Hadeeth on Dunya: If Allaah loves him, he protects him from the worldly life*
Mahmud ibn Labeed reported: The Messenger of Allaah, peace and blessings be upon him, said,
“Verily, Allaah the Exalted will put his faithful servant on a diet from the world when he loves him, just as you put your sick on a diet from food and drink fearing for him.”

Make this a habit:
Muslims are urged to stay awake after the morning prayer, so as to benefit from the great blessing of the early morning. Sakhr al-Ghamidi and other companions (ﺭﺿﻲ ﺍﻟﻠﻪ ﻋﻨﻬﻢ) reported that the Prophet (ﷺ) said:
“O Allah, bless the early part of the day for my Ummah. ”
[Recorded by Abu Dawud, an-Nasa’i. and others. Verified to be authentic by al-Albani (Sahih ul-Jami no. 1300 and Hidayat ur Ruwah no. 3831)]
Those who needlessly sleep in the early morning deprive themselves from this blessing. Therefore, some of the companions (ﺭﺿﻲ ﺍﻟﻠﻪ ﻋﻨﻬﻢ) considered this sleep an act of ignorance. Khawwat Bin Jubayr (رضي الله عنه) said:
“Sleeping in the beginning of the Day is ignorance, in its middle is a good quality, and in its end is an imprudent act.”
[Recorded by al-Bukhari (in al-Adab ul-Mufrad 1242) and verified to be authentic by al-Albani]
If a person gets tired during the day, it is best for him to take a nap during the late morning or early afternoon, even if for just a few minutes.
This was the practice of the Prophet (ﷺ) and his companions (ﺭﺿﻲ ﺍﻟﻠﻪ ﻋﻨﻬﻢ). Anas and Sahl Bin Sa‘d (ﺭﺿﻲ ﺍﻟﻠﻪ ﻋﻨﻬﻢ) reported:
“We used to pray Jumu‘ah and then take a nap (during the Prophet’s (ﷺ) time.)”
[Recorded by al-Bukhari (905,938-941), Muslim (859), and others.]

Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) said, “The Hour will not be established until you fight with the Jews, and the stone behind which a Jew will be hiding will say. “O Muslim! There is a Jew hiding behind me, so kill him.”
[Sahih al-Bukhari 2926]
Abu Hurairah (May Allah be pleased with him) said:
The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said, “The Last Hour will not come until the Muslims fight against the Jews, until a Jew will hide himself behind a stone or a tree, and the stone or the tree will say: 'O Muslim, there is a Jew behind me. Come and kill him,' but Al-Gharqad tree will not say so, for it is the tree of the Jews.”
[Riyad as-Salihin 1820]
Al-Hafiz Ibn Hajar (may Allah have mercy on him) said,
“What is meant by fighting the Jews is that this will happen when the Dajjal emerges and ‘Eesa عليه السلام descends.”
[Fath al-Bari 6/610]
Ibn al-Mulqin said:
“What is meant by the words ‘You will fight the Jews’ is that this will happen when ‘Eesa عليه السلام descends; the Muslims will be with him and the Jews will be with the Dajjal.”
[At-Tawdeeh li Sharh al-Jami‘ as-Saheeh (17/663)]
Shaykh al-Islam Ibn Taymiyah (may Allah have mercy on him) said:
“The Jews are in fact awaiting the false messiah (al-maseeh ad-dajjal), for he is the one whom the Jews will follow. Seventy thousand of the Jews of Isfahan wearing tayalisah (a kind of head covering) will emerge with him. The Muslims will fight them with him, to the extent that trees and rocks will say: ‘O Muslim, here is a Jew behind me; come and kill him’.”
[Al-Jawab as-Saheeh li man baddala Deen al-Maseeh 2/30]
Ash-Shaykh Ibn Baz (may Allah have mercy on him) said:
“‘Eesa عليه السلام will fight him (ad-Dajjal), supported by the Muslims, and he will kill him at the gate of al-Ludd (Lod), which is in Palestine, near al-Quds (Jerusalem). He will kill him with his spear, as it says in the saheeh hadith, and the Muslims who are with him will kill a great number of the Jews. It says in the hadith from the Prophet (ﷺ) that the Muslims will fight the Jews, and will kill them and gain power over them, and trees and rocks will call out: ‘O Muslim, O slave of Allah, here is a Jew; come and kill him. And ‘Eesa عليه السلام will kill the Dajjal and put an end to him’.”

• As for Thabr: He is responsible for calamities. He orders people to rip their clothes, slap their cheeks and make the call of ignorance when stricken by calamity
• al-A'war: He is responsible for fornication (Zinā). He beautifies it and orders others to commit it
• Musawwaṭ: He is responsible for lies. He hears the news and transfers it to someone else, who in turn, goes to a gathering of people and tells them
• Dāsim: He shows a wife’s faults to her husband and makes him angry with her
• Zulunbūr: He is responsible for the market place. He sticks his flag (Fitnah) therein.

Prophet Ayyub a.s was blessed with abundant wealth, land and children. He was then tested by having all of those, including his health, taken away from him. All his limbs were not free from disease except for his tongue and heart which he used to remember Allah s.w.t.
People cut ties with him due to his illness and he was expelled from the city with only his wife who was there to support him. Prophet Ayyub a.s remained patient and grateful despite his situation. He sought help from Allah s.w.t by reciting the dua in Surah Al-Anbiyaa’ (21:83). The following Dua is an excerpt from the verse:
رَبِّي أَنِّي مَسَّنِيَ الضُّرُّ وَأَنْتَ أَرْحَمُ الرَّاحِمِينَ
Robbi annee massaniyad-durru wa-anta arhamur-raahimeen
My Lord. Indeed, adversity has touched me, and you are the Most Merciful of the merciful.

Performing Hajj on behalf of someone else for a payment
Question:
Whoever took some pay to perform Hajj (the amount being 3,ooo riyals not including the sacrificial animal), and then the person who took the pay performed the Hajj in the required manner, Does this person receive the reward of a Hajj, and does the person who died receive the reward of a Hajj, and does the one who paid the wage receive the reward of a Hajj? Or is the one who performed the Hajj deprived of that reward? Some people have begun giving a ruling (fatwa) that we do not know. They say that the one who performed the Hajj gets no reward. He only took the pay in place of his reward for Hajj. We would like to know the correct view regarding this unclear matter.
Answer:
If he took the pay for performing Hajj for the sake of his desire for worldly gain, then he is an extremely dangerous position because of that. It is feared that his Hajj will not be accepted, because he preferred this world to the Hereafter. However, if he took the pay while hoping for that which is with Allaah (of reward), and to benefit his Muslim brother by performing Hajj on his behalf, and so that he could participate with the Muslims in the sacred rites of Hajj (this is a different situation). If he took the pay while hoping for what reward he would get for the Tawaf and prayer in the Sacred Mosque and being present in the circles of knowledge, then he is upon tremendous good. It is hoped for him that he will achieve a reward like the reward of whoever he performed Hajj for.

BEING KIND TO DEBTORS WHO FACE FINANCIAL DIFFICULTIES
ALLĀH commands creditors to be patient with debtors who are having a hard time financially,
وَإِن كَانَ ذُو عُسْرَةٍ فَنَظِرَةٌ إِلَى مَيْسَرَةٍ
(And If it is difficult for someone to repay a debt, postpone it until a time of ease.)
During the time of Jahiliyyah, when the debt came to term, the creditor would say to the debtor, "Either pay now or interest will be added to the debt."
ALLĀH encouraged creditors to give debtors respite regarding their debts and promised all that is good, and a great reward from HIM for this righteous deed,
وَأَن تَصَدَّقُواْ خَيْرٌ لَّكُمْ إِن كُنتُمْ تَعْلَمُونَ
(And if you waive it as an act of charity, it will be better for you, if only you knew.),
meaning, if you forfeit your debts and cancel them completely.
Imam Ahmad recorded that Sulayman bin Buraydah said that his father said,
'I heard the Messenger of ALLĀH ﷺ say,
"Whoever gives time to a debtor facing hard times, will gain charity of equal proportions for each day he gives."'...
Ahmad recorded that Muhammad bin Kab Al-Qurazi said that;
Abu Qatadah had a debt on a man, who used to hide from Abu Qatadah when he looked for him to pay what he owed him. One day, Abu Qatadah came looking for the debtor and a young boy came out, and he asked him about the debtor and found out that he was in the house eating.
Abu Qatadah said in a loud voice, "O Fellow! Come out, for I was told that you are in the house."
The man came out and Abu Qatadah asked him, "Why are you hiding from me?"
The man said, "I am having a hard time financially, and I do not have any money."
Abu Qatadah said, "By ALLĀH, are you truly facing a hard time?"
He said, "Yes."
Abu Qatadah cried and said, "I heard the Messenger of ALLĀH ﷺ say,
"Whoever gives time to his debtor, or forgives the debt, will be in the shade of the Throne (of ALLĀH) on the Day of Resurrection."
Muslim also recorded this Hadith in his Sahih.
Al-Hafiz Abu Yala Al-Mawsili recorded that Hudhayfah said that the Messenger of ALLĀH ﷺ said,
"On the Day of Resurrection, one of ALLAH'S servants will be summoned before HIM and HE will ask him, "What deeds did you perform for ME in your life?"
He will say, "O Lord! In my life, I have not performed a deed for YOUR sake that equals an atom," three times.
The third time, the servant will add, "O Lord! You granted me wealth and I used to be a merchant. I used to be lenient, giving easy terms to those well-off and giving time to the debtors who faced hard times."
ALLĀH will say, "I Am the Most Worthy of giving easy terms. Therefore, enter Paradise."

Ahmad recorded that Muhammad bin Kab Al-Qurazi said that;
Abu Qatadah had a debt on a man, who used to hide from Abu Qatadah when he looked for him to pay what he owed him.

STORY TIME🙂
❝While Prophet Musa (عليه السلام) was in a gathering Iblis came wearing a hooded cape that changed in colors. When the devil came nearer he took off the cape and set it down and came to Musa saying: ‘Peace be upon you.
Musa replied: ‘Who are you?’
He said: ‘I am Iblis.‘
Musa responded: ‘No greetings from Allah to you, what brought you here?’
The devil said: ‘I came to greet you because of your high godly status.’
Musa said: ‘What have I seen you wearing?’
Iblis replied: ‘I use it (the cape) to capture the hearts of the sons of Adam.’
Musa asked: ‘What is it that if a human does will enable you to take him over?’
He replied: ‘If he becomes fond of himself, and considered his (good) deeds plentiful.’
I warn you from three things:
First, never be alone with a woman that is not lawful to you. Because whenever someone does so, I personally accompany him and use her to seduce him.
Second, never promise Allah something except that you fulfill your promise. Whenever someone promises Allah something I personally accompany him to prevent him from fulfilling his promise.
And never take an amount of money to give charity except that you make sure you give it to that charity. Whenever someone takes an amount of money to give to charity, I personally accompany him to persuade him not to give it.
Then Iblis walked away saying:
‘Woe to me, thrice, I have taught Prophet Musa (عليه السلام) from what to warn the sons of Adam.’❞

🤲 Ya Allah protect us from seclusion with the opposite gender that leads to fitna, grant us tawfeeq to fulfill our promises to you and make us sincere in the way we dispose off charity for your pleasure and sake alone - Allahumma ameen!

Ibn ‘Abdil-Barr (raḥimahullāh):
“Dunyā (this world) and Ākhirah (Hereafter) are (like) two wives, if you try to please one of them the other one gets displeased.”
● [بهجة المجالس ٢٣٧]
Yaḥyā b. Mu'ādh رحمه الله:
“.. And indeed the Mahr of Jannah is to abandon the Dunyā.”

At “sit downs” one question that is frequently asked is “how much Qur’an have you memorized?” While this question is valid- let’s change it to “how much Qur’an do you implement in your life?”
Allahu Akbar 🤍
