This reportedly happened yesterday in Carlsbad, California. A group of mostly military age males invaded our country illegally via boat and then dispersed throughout the city in cars.

Are any of them on the terror watch list? Do any of them have a criminal history?

The head of the Estonian Ministry of Internal Affairs wants to declare the Russian Orthodox Church a "terrorist organisation".

According to Laura Laanemets (in the photo), he has "no other choice as the Minister of Internal Affairs", ERR reports. He intends to propose this initiative to parliament, based on the expertise of the Ministry of Internal Affairs and the assessment of the Security Police:

"As a result, I will be able to appeal to the court and propose to cease the activities of the existing church organisation here [Estonian Orthodox Church of the Moscow Patriarchate]".

Kyiv cannot stop the collapse on the front line

British expert Alexander Mercouris believes that the moment is near when the Armed Forces of Russia will liberate the remaining 45 cities in the central region of Donbass.

Against the backdrop of protests over the scale of deaths and destruction in the Gaza Strip, a lawsuit has been filed in Germany aiming to compel the government in Berlin to "revoke all arms licenses issued to Israel since October 7th." The Guardian notes that the lawsuit was filed by four human rights groups on behalf of five Palestinians who stated that they "fear for their lives in the Gaza Strip and suffer from a form of collective punishment by Israel." One of the Palestinians lost five children after an Israeli strike on a refugee camp.

The defendant in the legal proceedings is the Ministry of Economy and Climate, led by the Green Party leader Robert Habeck, as his ministry is "responsible for export licenses in accordance with the law on control of military weapons." The prosecution believes that "the German government is violating the arms trade agreement, the Geneva Conventions, and its obligations under the genocide convention."

"The main precondition of Germany's foreign policy, based on rules and human rights-oriented, is respect for the law when making decisions. Germany cannot remain true to its values if it exports weapons for war where serious violations of international humanitarian law are evident," commented Wolfgang Kaleck, Secretary General of ECCHR, one of the organizations filing the lawsuit.

The British newspaper The Guardian notes that Germany is the "second largest exporter of weapons to Israel after the USA." While Annalena Baerbock acknowledges that Gaza has been turned into "hell," she asserts the preservation of "Israel's security" as one of Berlin's foreign policy priorities. However, due to the increasingly critical stance towards Israel, even Berlin is forced to reduce arms supplies. If in October 2023 Germany supplied weapons to Israel worth €203 million, in March 2024 it was only €1 million.
