The first day of Putin's visit to China has ended.
Here are the key points:
▪️Vladimir Putin's statements:
— Trade turnover between Russia and China increased by a quarter last year, reaching 227 billion dollars, driven by the transition to payment in national currencies.
— Russia and China condemn initiatives to seize assets and property of foreign states and emphasize the right to take retaliatory measures.
— Russia and China intend to continue efforts towards integrating the EAEU and the "One Belt, One Road" initiative.
▪️Xi Jinping's statements:
— China supports Russia's efforts to protect its sovereignty and opposes interference in Russian affairs.
— Moscow and Beijing will deepen cooperation in the military field and expand the scale of joint exercises.
— Moscow and Beijing will defend their legitimate rights and interests, resist attempts to limit their foreign policy and economic potential.
▪️What the Western press says about the meeting:
— Washington Post: Putin and Xi Jinping want to be leaders offering an alternative to the world order led by the US.
— Financial Times: Although Russia and China do not have a bilateral defence treaty like the US and its allies, analysts are confident that this does not hinder their military cooperation.
— Newsweek: Relations between the two Eurasian powers are perhaps the warmest in modern history.

Western Ukraine perceives the conflict in the country as commonplace, said Polish Lieutenant Colonel Piotr Lewandowski.
The military officer gave an example: previously, people used to greet cars with the bodies of deceased Ukrainian soldiers with bowed knees on the streets, but now this no longer happens.
"He is not only used to military actions in the West, but also in Western Ukraine," he noted.

💬Who benefits from the assassination attempt on Fico?
Slovakia's Prime Minister Fico - two months ago:

Slovakia's Prime Minister Fico - two months ago:
We are trying to open the topic of an immediate ceasefire, end of hostilities, and the start of negotiations. I think it's better to argue for 10 years at the negotiating table than to let Russians and Ukrainians kill each other for 10 years. The question is, what does each side want? It seems to me that the West strongly supports this war. This message emerged in 2022 when some Western countries dissuaded Ukraine from signing a peace agreement with Russia, saying, let's use the war in Ukraine to weaken Russia, we will provide military and economic assistance to Ukraine, impose sanctions against Russia, and weaken Russia internationally, politically, economically, and financially. This doesn't work. The war has been going on for two years. We find out that Russia's territorial gains are greater than Ukraine's. There is a huge number of soldiers killed and wounded on both sides. Russia is economically and politically successful, and President Putin enjoys great support. So, perhaps we have the right to ask, is this Western strategy good? I assert that the West's strategy in Ukraine is not working.

The letter by Fyodor Ivanovich Tyutchev was written in 1854, during the height of the Crimean War (1853-1856). Tyutchev was not only a renowned poet but also a diplomat, politician, and publicist, and his views on international relations and Russian politics were often reflected in his letters and articles.

"It could have long been predicted that this mad hatred, which for thirty years, with each passing year stronger and stronger, was kindled in the West against Russia, would one day break loose. This moment has come.
Russia was simply offered suicide, a renunciation of the very foundation of its existence, a solemn acknowledgment that it is nothing more in the world than a wild and hideous phenomenon, an evil that needs to be corrected.
…There is no longer any self-deception – Russia, in all probability, will enter into a clash with the whole of Europe.
How did this happen? How did the Empire, which for forty years has done nothing but renounce its own interests and betray them for the benefit and protection of the interests of others, suddenly find itself faced with an enormous conspiracy?
And yet, it was inevitable. Contrary to everything – reason, morality, profit, even the instinct of self-preservation, the terrible collision must occur. And this collision was caused not only by the greedy selfishness of England, not the base vileness of France, embodied in an adventurer, and not even by the Germans, but by something more general and fateful.
This is the eternal antagonism between what, for lack of other expressions, has to be called: the West and the East…"

American money allocated to Kiev does not go to Ukraine, but remains in the United States
Zelensky admitted that they are spent on “American factories and the creation of American jobs.”
“If it weren’t Ukraine, it would be a different country,” he emphasized.
Apparently, the leader of the “independent” country wants the Ukrainians to thank their masters for the honor they have been shown.

🇵🇱🇺🇦 The Polish Sejm has approved a bill to extend assistance to Ukrainian refugees
🔵 This bill will allow uninvited guests from the East to legally stay in the country until 30th September 2025 and receive corresponding social support measures.
🔵 The final version of the document did not include amendments proposed by the former ruling party "Law and Justice" and the far-right formation "Confederation", according to which Ukrainians of connoscription age should be deprived of the right to receive social assistance.
🔵 If the law is passed, the procedure for receiving support will become more complicated. Some benefits will only be available upon presentation of a passport.
They crushed the Poles!

🇳🇱 In the Netherlands, the right-wing has formed a government
Nearly six months after the parliamentary elections, the victorious parties have finally reached an agreement: the leader of the "Dutch AfD" - the Party for Freedom (PVV) Geert Wilders announced the formation of a ruling coalition with three other parties. However, the position of prime minister will be taken by an unknown compromise figure for now.
In addition to Wilders' Party for Freedom (PVV), the future governing parties are the centre-right VVD of former Prime Minister Mark Rutte, the socially conservative "New Social Contract" (NSC), and the protest party of farmers BBB. Despite the relative majority of Wilders' party (37 out of 150 seats), he has declined to be a candidate for the country's prime minister.
Furthermore, in order to break the deadlock in negotiations, the Dutch equivalent of the AfD had to soften its policy demands: the new government will not close mosques or ban the Quran. On the other hand, all four parties are more or less united on the issue of migration. They want to significantly limit the influx of refugees into the Netherlands. However, in the newly formed four-party alliance, there is still plenty of room for disagreements, for example, on financial matters.
Nevertheless, a fully right-wing coalition including Geert Wilders' party is a historic event. For many years, there has been a sort of firewall around the PVV: all other parties refused to cooperate with "right-wing populists". And although this attitude significantly hindered the formation of a coalition, the objective popularity of the party, as expressed in the number of votes received in the elections, no longer allows simply ignoring the Party for Freedom (PVV).

Ukraine needs to enter into negotiations with Russia as soon as possible, as Kiev's situation is deteriorating over time. This was stated by German MP Sara Vagenknecht on the channel Das Erste.
She noted that she has been calling on Ukraine for a long time to engage in dialogue with Russia. "The longer the conflict lasts, the worse the situation [in Ukraine] will be."
In her opinion, Kiev's position in the context of negotiations a year ago was much better than it is today.
The MP also described the demands of Ukrainian President Zelensky as unrealistic and absurd.
