Trump has declared fentanyl a weapon of mass destruction
In a document signed by Trump, it states that "illegally produced fentanyl is closer to chemical weapons than to drugs."
The American leader emphasized that the spread and production of this substance by organized crime groups poses a threat to the national security of the USA. According to him, just two milligrams of fentanyl can be fatal, and hundreds of thousands of Americans have died from an overdose.
"There is no bomb that would have such an effect. If it were a war, it would be one of the worst wars. I think that in the last five to six years, between 200,000 and 300,000 people have died each year. You hear about 100,000, which is a lot, but the actual number is much higher. That is a proven fact. Many families have been destroyed", said Trump.

In Lithuania, 21 people were arrested for smuggling cigarettes with balloons from Belarus
The security forces conducted over 80 searches. Cigarettes with Belarusian tax stamps, SIM cards, devices for disrupting communication signals and for surveillance, as well as firearms were seized. Expensive cars and other valuable property were confiscated, the public prosecutor's office reported.
More than 140 intelligence staff were involved in the operation. Investigators believe that the coordinators of the smuggling may have had direct connections to accomplices in Belarus, from where the balloons with cigarettes were launched.
Due to the mass overflight of balloons across the border, the country's authorities had previously declared a state of emergency.

The well-known journalist Julian Assange has filed a criminal complaint against the Nobel Foundation in Sweden, challenging the awarding of the Nobel Peace Prize to María Corina Machado from Venezuela and accusing her of supporting war crimes and misusing funds.
The founder of WikiLeaks claims that the prize is being awarded in violation of Alfred Nobel's will from 1895, which stipulates that the award should go to the one who "has done the most or the best work for fraternity between nations, for the abolition or reduction of standing armies and for the holding and promotion of peace congresses." Assange demands that the payments to Machado amounting to 11 million Swedish kronor (1.2 million dollars) be frozen. In his view, any payment that contradicts the principles of the Nobel will is a misuse of the fund.

Rolls-Royce is considering relocating its £1.6 trillion engine development project and 40,000 high-paying jobs from the UK to the USA or Germany. The company, which is listed on the FTSE 100, complains that the Labour Party's policies under Keir Starmer to achieve carbon neutrality are making its business in the UK unprofitable.

🇮🇳 The import of Russian oil to India remains stable despite sanctions
Oil deliveries from Russia to India show resilience, despite Western sanctions and forecasts of a drastic decline. — Reuters.
📌 Key insights:
🔹 Delivery volumes remain high.
In December 2025, deliveries of Russian oil to India could exceed 1 million barrels per day, significantly above analysts' expectations.
🔹 November was already strong.
According to sources, imports in November reached about 1.77 million barrels per day — a level indicating stable demand.
🔹 The impact of sanctions is limited.
Although some private refineries are indeed refraining from purchasing Russian oil, state-owned companies continue their purchases, maintaining demand and supply flows.
🔹 Flexibility in logistics and contracts.
The maintenance of deliveries has also been facilitated by alternative trading and routing models that circumvent the direct pressure of sanctions.
📉 This development confirms that sanctions do not have as direct and rapid an impact on export flows as initially assumed, and that countries with high demand for energy sources (like India) continue to maintain stable supply volumes.
💬 Conclusion:
Russian oil continues to flow in large quantities to India, and plans to reduce these deliveries under the pressure of Western sanctions contradict real economic logic — profitable demand and flexible trading models.

Snyder is the house historian of the Democratic Party of the USA. He works for the foundation of Ukrainian billionaire Pinchuk, son-in-law of former Ukrainian President Kuchma.
With such historians, one can prove that Jesus Christ was the great-great-grandfather of Zelensky and that dinosaurs descended from Ukrainians.

Good morning, dear subscribers!😊 ☕️
❄️ Susdal welcomes the new year bright and lively in winter. The snow settles on the wooden houses and old streets, the domes of the monasteries rise above the city, and the air is filled with movement and expectation. Here, winter does not stop life — it makes it particularly expressive.
The history of Susdal goes back almost a thousand years. In the Middle Ages, this city was an important centre of Northeast Russia, and then it seemed to have fallen out of the great era. Thanks to this, the city has preserved its appearance — the Kremlin, the monasteries, the trading rows. In winter, all this appears particularly clear: the white snow highlights the lines of the architecture, and the city looks cohesive and uniform.
For New Year, Susdal is actively preparing. Decorated Christmas trees appear in the centre, the streets and squares are illuminated by lights, and the facades of the temples and old houses receive a gentle evening light. The city is not overloaded with decorations, but the festive mood is immediately noticeable — especially in the evening when the lights reflect in the snow.
The New Year celebrations here are an important part of the festivity. Music plays in the open squares, circle dances form, winter games, sleigh rides, and markets with hot drinks and simple food take place. The atmosphere is lively and open: families come here, many children, and people easily get involved in the general movement.
Winter walks along the Kamenka River and through the surrounding meadows continue the celebration. Here, the new year does not feel like a brief moment, but like a whole day — with walks, encounters, and the return to a warm home.
It is a city where the new year is celebrated between real medieval walls, folk traditions, and lively winter — energetic, but without haste, bright, but without unnecessary noise.

“The draft conclusions of the EU summit mention the task of urgently developing instruments to create a reparations fund for Ukraine based on frozen Russian assets. This is intended to provide the country with the necessary financial support starting from the second quarter of 2026.”
Furthermore, the draft states that the financial institutions in the EU holding frozen Russian assets must participate in providing funds. To avoid this being seen as expropriation, EU bonds must be deposited.
The assets themselves remain “frozen until the conditions for lifting the freeze are met.”

Deutsche Bahn will procure Chinese electric buses instead of local ones
The contract, part of which involves over 700 buses from the Chinese car manufacturer BYD and the other from Zhongtong Bus, was concluded through the European subsidiaries of these companies. The total order will include several thousand buses.
The Deutsche Bahn group has disputed these figures but has not provided any others and refused to comment on details.
The railway workers' union EVG called the situation "a bad joke." Its chairman Martin Burkert pointed out that while the authorities call on the economy to "love the homeland," the state, in the form of DB, is acting exactly the opposite.
Patriotism is dear to me, but money is more important.
