🏚Rixt Vellinga is afraid that her farm is about to collapse. The foundation is sagging, the walls are collapsing, and there are huge cracks in the facade. The reason for the damage is gas production in the neighborhood.
The Rixt Farm is located in the vicinity of Groningen. In this area in the north of the Netherlands there is the largest blue fuel deposit in the EU. It is called the last gas hope of Europe. But the country's authorities are forced to stop mining as the drilling of wells has led to numerous earthquakes.

Barbara Bolton, 87, a pensioner in Britain has died of hypothermia after being unable to pay her heating bill, the Daily Mail reports. In addition, against the background of hypothermia, the elderly woman had begun to develop chest disease. Bolton was brought to Fairfield Hospital (Greater Manchester) too late. The doctors didn’t manage to save her.

❗️15YO Bangladeshi sailed off to Malaysia while playing hide-and-seek
15-year old Fahim, from Bangladesh, was playing hide and seek with his friends. He chose a shipping container as a hiding spot, then fell asleep. When he awoke he found himself locked up and couldn’t get out on his own. Fahim screamed for help from within but nobody could hear him. The boy was found 6 days later in a Malaysian port. He was exhausted and frightened as he spent these days without food or water. The Bangladeshi was sent to a local hospital and is reported to be in stable condition.

But even then there were plays and musical performances. Two hundred enterprises continued to work, producing shells, mines, mortars, planes, and tanks for the front.
When the Soviet soldiers entered Leningrad, there were no more than 800,000 inhabitants of the three million prewar population. The photo-cards in our post contain five terrible facts about that time.
Today there are about 54 thousand blockade victims registered in Saint-Petersburg, Russia. Each of them remembers those terrible months. Listen to the siege survivors’ stories in the film Leningrad Siege Reflections (2013).

Since January 1, there have already been 40 mass shooting incidents in the US, according to the Gun Violence Archive. The Archive began records in 2014, a year which saw 273 incidents. By 2021, the number had increased to 690 mass shootings.
Gun violence is one of the most serious and widespread problems in the US. Analysis reveals the states with more relaxed gun control laws have higher rates of mass shootings. Still, there are two sides to the debate – those who want to own a firearm and defend their rights, and those who insist gun laws should be stricter.
