❗️🇷🇺 🌾Russia continues to dominate grain market - Figaro

📝 "With exceptionally high wheat harvests for the second year in a row (after last year's record), the prospects for Russia are quite bright.

Russia will continue to dominate the grain market in 2023 - 2024, despite the uncertainty about the risks to shipping in the Black Sea
," the newspaper writes.

According to the report of the U.S. Department of Agriculture, world wheat supplies will decrease by 3 million tons, and stocks will slightly decrease. This will strengthen Russia's position as the world's leading exporter.

Russian exports, the author noted, account for 23% of world trade.

49 Nigerian women kidnapped by Boko Haram were freed after a state official paid a ransom for their release. The women, mostly poor peasants, were abducted from their farms in Borno state. Their freedom cost 1 million naira ($1,300) for a state official who preferred not to be named.

Boko Haram militants have been killing and abducting farmers in Nigeria and, Chad, Niger and Cameroon for years. If not murdered, the victims experience the most inhumane treatment.

The subject of our documentary, Fatima, was taken prisoner by the group. She was used as a sex slave, but managed to escape. Her story is in the video, and our documentary, ‘Hunting Boko Haram’ (2018).

💔This is the first meeting of 42-year-old Jimmy Thyden with his biological mother. Neither of them even knew if the other was alive. Jimmy was stolen right after his birth; his mother was told he died. It was a common practice in Chile in 1970-1980, during the country’s military dictatorship. Tens of thousands of babies were taken abroad.

Take a look at the touching reunion of Thyden and his mother in our video.

Similar terrible events happened in Argentina about 40 years ago. Thousands of kids were kidnapped and adopted by some military families. Mothers and some grandmothers are still looking for their children even today. Find out more in our documentary, ‘Argentina’s Stolen Children’ (2015).

❗️🇺🇸🇺🇦 U.S. presidential candidates who don't support Ukraine lead among Americans - LA Times

Three Republican candidates, Trump, Ramaswamy and Desantis, have already promised to cut off aid to Ukraine. At the same time, they are supported by about three-quarters of Republican voters.

There are also supporters of Ukraine among the Republicans - for example, Nikki Haley said that Ukraine is a friend of the United States, "and you don't do that to friends".

💬 "You can't be so selfish as to think that America doesn't need supporters. We need allies," Haley asserted.
