THE VIRTUES OF THE DAY OF ARAFAH
• Narrated Umar ibn al-Khattab (رضي الله عنه): "Once a Jew said to me: 'O leader of the believers, there is a verse in your Holy Book which is read by all of you (Muslims), and had it been revealed to us, we would have taken that day (on which it was revealed) as an Eid (festival) day.'
Umar bin al-Khattab (رضي الله عنه) asked: "Which is That Verse?"
The Jew Replied:
« الْيَوْمَ أَكْمَلْتُ لَكُمْ دِينَكُمْ وَأَتْمَمْتُ عَلَيْكُمْ نِعْمَتِي وَرَضِيتُ لَكُمُ الْإِسْلَامَ دِينًا »
"This Day I have Perfected your Religion for you, Completed My Favour Upon you, and Have Chosen for you Islam as Your Religion."(5:3)
Umar (رضي الله عنه) Replied: "No doubt, we know when and where this verse was revealed to the Prophet Muhammad ﷺ. It was Friday and the Prophet (ﷺ) was Standing at 'Arafat (i.e. the Day of Hajj)."

Fast Of 'Arafah
عن أبي قتادة أن رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم سئل عن صوم يوم عرفة فقال كفارة سنتين
Narrated from Abū Qatādah al-Anṣārī Raḍi-Allāhu ‘Anhu that the Messenger of ALLĀH ﷻ Prophet Muhammad ﷺ was asked about fasting of the day of 'Arafah so he said: “It is an expiation for TWO YEARS (of minor sins).”
● [رواه أحمد ٢٢٠١١]
سئل رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم عن صيام يوم عرفة فقال: يكفر الله به السنة التي قبلها والتي بعدها
In another narration; The Messenger of ALLĀH ﷻ Prophet Muhammad ﷺ was asked regarding fasting of the day of 'Arafah so he said: “Through it ALLĀH ﷻ Expiates (sins) of the year which was before it and the year which is after it.”
● [صحيح الجامع ، رقم الحديث : ٣٨٥٣ ، صححه الألباني]
IMPORTANT NOTE
Imām an-Nawawī Raḥimahullāh Mentioned in the Sharḥ of Ḥadeeth regarding fasting of the 'Arafah: “And what is meant by Sins in here are the MINOR SINS.”
As for the Major Sins, they Require Sincere Tawbah,
قالت عائشة رضي الله عنها: ما من السنة يومًا أصومه أحبُّ إلي من أن أصومَ يوم عرفة.
‘Ā`ishah رضي الله عنها: “There is no day of the year that I love to fast MORE than the day of ‘Arafah.”

The Prophet Muhammad ﷺ Said; About Fasting on the Day of ’Arafah for Those Not Performing the Hajj:
❝It Expiates Sins of the Previous Year as Well as the Following Year.❞

A Deep Cleansing of Sin's
اَللّٰهُمَّ بَاعِدْ بَيْنِيْ وَبَيْنَ خَطَايَاىَ كَمَا بَاعَدْتَ بَيْنَ الْمَشْرِقِ وَالْمَغْرِبِ ، اللَّهُمَّ نَقِّنِيْ مِنَ الْخَطَايَا كَمَا يُنَقَّى الثَّوْبُ الأَبْيَضُ مِنَ الدَّنَسِ ، اللَّهُمَّ اغْسِلْنِيْ مِنْ خَطَايَاىَ بِالْمَاءِ وَالثَّلْجِ وَالْبَرَدِ.
Allāhumma bāʿid baynī wa bayna khaṭāyāya kamā bāʿadta bayna-l-mashriqi wa-l-maghrib, Allāhumma naq-qinī min khaṭāyāya kamā yunaq-qa-th-thawbul-abyaḍu mina-d-danas, Allāhumma-ghsilnī min khaṭāyāya bil-māi’ wa-th-thalji wal-barad.
O ALLĀH ﷻ, Distance Me from my Sins as You have Distanced the East from the West. O ALLĀH ﷻ, Purify me from my Sins as white Cloth is Purified from dirt. O ALLĀH ﷻ, wash Away my Sins with Water, Snow and Hail.
Abū Hurayrah Radiallahu'Anhu Narrates: “The Messenger of ALLĀH ﷻ Prophet Muhammad ﷺ would Pause Between the Opening Takbīr and the Recitation. Said: ‘May My Father and Mother be Sacrificed for you, the Pause Between the opening Takbīr and the Recitation,
What do you Say?’
He replied: ‘I Say [the above].’
(Bukhārī 744, Muslim 598)

Abdullāh Ibn Mubārak رحمه الله:
"I Entered Upon Sufyān al-Thawrī on the Evening of 'Arafah Whilst he Was Kneeling on his knees and his eyes shedding tears, so he turned towards me and I said to him:

You Can't Make it Up, So Take Advantage of it
Imām an-Nawawī (رحمه الله) advices you to Invest in the day of 'Arafah and says that it is not possible to make it up.
The Imām رحمه الله Said:
"This is the best day in the year for supplicating, thus it befits a person to fully devote his efforts in making Dhikr, Du'ā' and reciting the Qur'ān; and he should supplicate with the different kinds of Du'ās and read the different kinds of Dhikr. He should supplicate for himself, his parents, relatives, Mashāyikh, companions, friends, loved ones and any one else who was good to him as well as all the Muslims. And let him be fully cautious from falling short in any of these as this day cannot be made up."

You know, We Plan and Build so Many Dream's and Goal's for Ourselves; We’ll Marry this Specific Person, We’ll get this Particular job, We’ll Save up This Amount of Wealth... but We Forget That ALLĀH ﷻ Sees and Knows, out Of His infinite Wisdom and Mercy, What’s Truly Best For Us.
And so When we take ALLĀH ﷻh out of the picture & we dont marry the Person we Wanted to, or we Don’t get the Job we Dreamed about, or the things we worked hard towards, we become Despondent & Hopeless because we placed our happiness in all these things thinking its whats best for us
We didn’t Leave our Affair's to ALLĀH ﷻ, Asking Him that if this thing is best for me then facilitate it for Me and if it’s Not Best for me then Detach me From it and Grant me Something better in Return. Having this kind of Mindset will put your heart at ease & lessen the Pain that bit more because you know and Realise that if ALLĀH ﷻ has Turned you away from Something then it is Only Because He is Protecting you and emptying your hands so He can Replace Them With that which is Far better for you Than you Could Ever Imagine.
Ya ALLĀH ﷻ Grant Us Istiqamah and Husn Adh Dhan Billah During our Blessing's and our Hardship's Aāmeen Ya Rabbul Alāmeen!

The majority of people are in a state of ignorance and neglect influence by wordly affairs of this life. So it is necessary to have patience and it is necessary to be gentle until the call has reached and been conveyed to the people and that they come to an understanding."

The Prophet ﷺ Said:
“The Day of Arafat, the Day of Sacrifice and the day's of Tashriq Are Our ‘Eid, O People of Islām, and They Are day's of Eating and Drinking and the Remembrance (dhikr) of ALLĀH ﷻ.”
(Muslim, Abu Dawūd, An-Nasā’ī, Ahmad and declared saheeh by Al-Albāni, Saheeh Al-Jāmi’, no. 2689)
All Praise belongs to ALLĀH ﷻ He has Honored the Believer's with Such Time's and Season's of khayr.
A 4 day Celebration.
Include Eid al-Fiṭr, that's 5 days of Celebration we receive every year. Alhamdulillāh for Islām.

Shaykh Khalil ul-Rahman حفظه الله Said:
"Technology has advanced so much so that the disbelievers claim that their drones and cameras have reached the entire landmass on earth; yet despite all these advances, they have been unable to locate where the tribe of Yajuj and Majuj are trapped. This is from the miracles of the Prophet Muhammad ﷺ, as he said that they were trapped; and the disbelievers can never find it. Even greater than this is that it proves the existence of ALLĀH ﷻ, who concealed their location despite the entire landmass on earth being scanned by modern Technology. But the atheists still Refuse to Acknowledge His existence; their Heart's have Been Sealed."

SALAH:
Just because you are a Muslim and holding the Rope of Salaf doesn't mean you won't suffer. You have to endure so much that there is nothing left. The nafs you have is holding you back every single moment. The more you walk the path of Salaf, the more you will face trials and tribulations.
BUT JUST ONE RAK'AH OF SALAH IS ENOUGH TO CLEAR EVERYTHING.
