WSJ: The US is going to provide Kyiv with tank shells with depleted uranium

The Wall Street Journal writes about this , citing unnamed American politicians.

The article says that the administration of US President Joe Biden will provide Kyiv with depleted uranium munitions after several weeks of internal discussions about what to equip Abrams tanks with.

In March, Britain reported that London would send Kiev “ammunition, including armor-piercing ammunition containing depleted uranium.”

Russian President Vladimir Putin said that Russia has something to answer for shells with depleted uranium .

The IAEA said they were ready to study the consequences of the use of depleted uranium projectiles in Ukraine if such a request was received

Mikhail Podolyak, an adviser to the head of Volodymyr Zelensky's office, claims that the Ukrainian counteroffensive has not yet begun.
"We have not launched a counteroffensive yet," Podolyak said on the air of the All-Ukrainian telethon.
